oh could be good if it's in the style of Let's go home together

that always kinda reminded me of Fairytale of New York

 

and perfect timing, if you have a new Xmas song, they biggest mistake is releasing in December when all the playlist are on lock

(ie Taylor's Xmas Farm), so perfect time

 

I like the sound of it based on that snippet.

I liking the sound of it so far. Looking forward to hearing it in full.

It's giving a poor man's Fairytale Of New York

I dont like the sound of it at all based on the clip.

I’ve listened to this a few times now and I’m liking it the more I listen to it.

I don't really get the Fairytale of New York comparisons. Yes there's an Irish sound and it's a male/female duet but that was also built around it being an argument between the two 'protagonists'.

 

Indeed, a closer example is Gary Barlow & Sheridan Smith's How Christmas is Supposed to Be.

 

Back to this, I like it. I hope it does well.

Nothing much in this song. Easy listening almost country vibe but instantly forgettable and nothing of note in either vocal performance.

Let’s Go Home Together is massively better than this.

The chorus lacks a hook to make you return quickly to the song.

No appearances in the charts yet, I wonder if they've got any performances lined up.

I could see them doing strictly.
