Its Rusical week and the dolls are doing panto!

Really enjoyed the Rusical

 

I think Kate Butch may have had a Jan moment (in my opinion she was not 4th…..)

 

Shocked Banksie went but she was underwhelming and was trounced by DeDe in the lip sync

 

Did Ginger win on the look? Maybe. Was a good week for her though

 

Based on this week I’m expecting Cara & DeDe to land in the bottom two for snatch game

I can’t believe it?! Like, I agree with every decision made but I honestly thought Banksie had it in her to go the whole way and she’s gone :(

 

Feels way way too soon but, yeah, can’t argue it. For me… Kate was my winner of the week but seemed to end up getting pushed to the side in critiques a little, even though she was praised. Odd. Ginger and Vicki both did great but I just can’t fully get on board with them, there’s something exciting missing somewhere.

 

God, I’m genuinely so gutted about Banksie!!

i just got spoiled and haven’t seen the ep but NOO.

also had her down to go all the way. i’m so gutted.

Episode was sooo good, UK5 is knocking it out the park.

 

But shook that some girls are still there meanwhile this was the elimination!

 

I feel like Kate must be coming across different in the room bc it really feels watching the edit that she's killing it but placements wise the judges seem lukewarm.

 

My other main note this week, lucky escape for Cara given that I wouldn't expect her to know much about pantos. Surprising really that that wasn't a subject of discussion in the workroom or Untucked.

I had her as an early out initially but that switched to her being a contender (with a lovely back story as well)

This was such a great episode! Kate's reading challenge was great but Michael's read about being so ugly a baby's incubator had tinted windows made me laugh so much :lol:

 

I agree with the judging for the most part. Except I would've given the win to Michael or Kate over Ginger. I thought Ginger did good, but wasn't as big of a standout as the other two. Was really surprised Michael didn't win when Kate was called safe tbh. But it was such a great Rusical. I think Ginger's runway is what gave her the win :lol:

 

Really sad to see Banksie go so soon, but Dede killed the lip sync.

 

Season 5 is probably my 2nd favourite season after season 2 now! Such a strong cast - I really cannot call it with a strong contender like Banksie now gone. I'm rooting for Kate or Michael to win currently, although with the way Kate is being edited it makes me think she's being sideline for the likes of Vicki & Ginger.

 

I feel like the writing is on the wall for Cara now, I can't see her making it to the end as we have snatch game and likely at least one more acting/comedy challenge before the final. Although maybe she'll surprise!

I love Banksie but nobody else could have gone this week. There was a clear bottom 2 and Dede gave the best lipsync since Tayce’s Memory. This could have really been the non elim top 2 lipsync episode over the girl groups one tbh (Dede and Vicki bottom 2 there) but that’s just because this cast is so strong!

Gutted at Banksie being eliminated, but in an episode where they all did amazing that was the correct bottom two and sadly DeDe's lip-sync was a lot better. :(

 

Kate really does seem to be getting pushed aside in favour of other queens though. Like, that performance in the Rusical was outstanding. Vicki has some serious delusion (and I just really don't like her much atm) thinking it was going to be her and Michael for the win and totally disregarding Ginger and Kate.

Hoping Vicki, Dede and Cara are next to go!

Based off the last few weeks, I'm gonna predict something like:

 

7TH Dede

6TH Vicki

5TH Kate

4TH Michael

FINAL THREE Ginger, Cara & Tomara

WINNER Tomara Thomas

 

I have no idea what the order of challenges is though, so that might wind up being way off. Dede feels the most disposable, and I think if they want her gone, it could be her vs Cara on Snatch Game. Vicki feels like she's getting a delusional edit so I think her time is up, she's not the main villain, just a side plot.

 

They're clearly not invested in Kate enough to push her to the final but she brings enough value to confessionals and the like, a bit like Heidi or Tia, to keep her near the end. And then, I'd say of the other 4, Michael is getting the least attention. She could've arguably won like 4 challenges by now and keeps getting sidelined as a runner up, so I don't think they see her as a winner. I think their allegiance falls to Ginger if they want a camp, older queen.

 

And I'm sure Cara & Tomara are staying to the end as they have a rivalry story that can keep playing whenever they want it to. All 3 of these queens now have some kind of visible storyline interlinked with one another too, what with Ginger clapping back at Cara throughout the most recent episode, and Ginger and Tomara having been on a winning team together.

 

I would've predicted Banskie to be top 3/4 before this most recent episode though, so Dede will probably go on to win now after this prediction :lol: I just feel like this episode showed the productions' hand a lot more, seeing as they all did well, in terms of their priority players.

ugh Cara is just so shit though. Its the opposite of good representation to take someone who's several minorities and then just booster seat them the whole way through a show. Ok she's not shit but I find her really annoying to watch.

She’s really not shit though, she is a great performer and turns good looks, she just isn't that strong at comedy which is alwyas a huge part of the UK series.

 

Tbh Snatch Game should be interesting since it doesn’t seem like a very good cast for a Snatch Game, I think Ginger/Michael/Kate will do well, Tomara maybe could, Vicki gives me decent Snatch Game that isn’t funny vibes and I can see Dede bombing :lol:

Just watched this episode and it was great! I enjoyed last season's Rusical a bit more but this is brilliant as well. I agree with the final placings but I do think Kate Butch did the best in the panto. On the runway, I really liked DeDeLicious and Michael Marouli outfit. I didn't rate Vicki Vivacious outfit at all. The lip sync was a no-brainer. Banksie just stood still until the end :kink:

Gutted Banksie went I really thought she was a contender for the final, however I agree she was the worst one this week, and DeDe’s lip sync was incredible I thought she totally STOLE the stage (snatched her wig). It felt like they were really unfair to DeDe on the catwalk too, I adored her outfit it was sensational, like a twisted Mary Queen of Scots back to avenge herself! It was the perfect outfit for her lip sync to I dreamed a dream too, her eyes were captivating.
