I know, I was really hoping "When You Were Young" would get there but it didn't. Hopefully their next album brings a No.1 cause I don't think "Read My Mind" will get to the top, unfortunately :(

I prefer it to Bones but i can't see it being any higher than around 8-10 :(

Fingers crossed. I'd be over the moon with another Top 10 to be honest, the album is soon to reach the million copies in the UK ^_^

1.5 million, and I'm not sure, but "Sam's Town" must be around 900,000 copies by now.

That's pretty good for the amount of time it's been released :D

I was thinking the same thing, it's only 3/4 months old...

'Mr Brightside,' should have been re-released imo, even though #10 wasn't a bad position it would have been great for it to have a release after 'Somebody Told Me,' with the right promo it could have been a chart-topper imo.

I agree! I remember back in mid-2005 it was rumoured that either "Mr Brightside" or "All These Things That I've Done" would be re-activated, due to the new US video versions coming out around that time, but it never happened :(

The Killers need to get the video back on to the music channels and radio stations and then it can possibly re-enter due to the new chart rules?

Chris Moyles needs to create a campaign for The Killers.

 That'd be miles better than having the worst Billie song ever for the campaign

Updated for When You Were Young and Read My Mind.
"Read My Mind" has had a very nice chart run in spite of only peaking at No.15. It only goes to show that it truly deserved to make Top 10 in the UK.

Why didn't When You Were Young get #1  what blocked it?
