I’d hate Fern to win, she gives me extremely bad vibes. She’s very fake and jealous of younger attractive women. She has been a crap housemate.

I've lost interest in this seies. Housemates are really vanilla, and too conscious of coming across well.

 

Louis does make me laugh though, he's got no filter

This “Fern is jealous of attractive younger women” stance seems like an almighty leap to be making… just because she didn’t happen to warm to Ekin-Su? Fern has had no apparent problems with Marisha and Zeze?

I agree, im not picking up that vibe at all from Fern.

Going by the preview of tonight's ep she noms either Marisha or ZeZe.

 

Saying that I don't think she has been jealous of any of the younger women. Ekin-Su and Fern clearly had an issue with each other rather than Fern going round being horrible to the women. She was also spot on in all of her observations of Ekin-Su and how she has acted in the house.

 

Personally I'd say that Fern is measured in what she says, or doesn't say - which isn't a bad thing as you need to have a filter and be wary of your surroundings. I'd say though she has contributed more than a number of other HMs this series.

Exactly!!! She uplifted Marisha when she was going through it with Ekin-Su, has been nothing but lovely to Zeze. Its not like she's bitched about either of them either.

 

She also had issues with Louis but i would hardly say she's bitter and jealous of him.

If anyone else had made the Meghan comments Fern had they’ve had a right old roasting. I think Fern is loved just because she hates Schofield she’s been abysmal in the house. Ekins looks are playing a huge part in the sudden surge in people not being a fan of her and I don’t think I’m reaching saying this :lol:

Fern does seem calculated to me. She plays up to the cameras, the facial expressions, crying in the diary room and making out if this is the best experience she's had in her life :lol:

 

She was fake to Ekin-Su since day 1 and went too far with her reasons during the face-to-face nominations.

For the record, Ekin’s looks have zero to do with my distaste for her - that’s just utterly superficial. However, the personality traits has everything to do with it…

 

I’m not saying she’s a terrible person, far from it. This is completely within the parameters of reality TV and entertainment viewing, having an opinion on how she came across. Based on that, I just don’t get the love and adoration… or the defence squad. If her fans would hold their hands up and admit that she didn’t come across all that well, and she’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea but that’s fine… then, I’d understand! But it feels like her fanbase is really doubling down on pointing the blame finger at literally anybody else, housemates and viewers - but not at Ekin-Su herself. Bizarre to me, but I suppose it is what it is…!

The ‘jealous of attractive younger women’ argument… like, surely y'all are just trolling now? How dare someone see through poor little innocent Ekin-Su’s primary school acting and just generally not warm to her as a person. It seems any objective awareness and rational thinking whatsoever has been lost on people hell bent on defending Ekin-Su. Fern, Zeze, AJ, Will, Layton… they can’t all be wrong when there’s one common denominator. :lol:

Ekin didn't come across well on the show but she never did anything that bad to receive this amount of hate and nastiness (even in this thread).

 

The media smear campaign last week leading up to her eviction, every Z lister crawling out the woodwork for some tabloid coverage, AJ and Will bashing her all week on Late and Live. It was A LOT. And I really worry for her mental health cause she was not in a good place coming into this.

As a POC you pick up on undertones and it made me very uncomfortable. I also found her attitude towards Ekin vile and how after being nominated the first time Fern started acting up for the cameras putting that blanket over her head and doing that weird song/dance. It's well known Louis is a twat? I don't think i've ever said he is a good person either, i've only said he is good for entertainment purposes. But yeah go ahead and tell me, a POC how I should feel about Meghan comments because to you it clearly doesn't matter how it made me feel, an actual POC feel. I also called out the undertones when Gary and co were saying it too, so please do not try that BS with me.

 

I've repeatedly said it is fine if people do not like Ekin-Su and i've now repeatedly said she did not come across well.

 

I actually find it very telling you want to tell a POC how they should feel about Meghan comments. If you need me to be even more specific, all those partaking in that conversation made me uncomfortable.

lol,I like Fern I think she is measured but also not afraid to say her piece in a calm and astute way. I didn’t like Ekin-Su at all and it had nothing to do with her looks so I don’t understand why people are suggesting Fern would have that issue when she doesn’t with the other young female housemates. I do however think she went a bit far with the “it disturbs me” when nominating in the booth, the rest I thought was fine and astute but that bit was a bit unnecessary.
