Put all 5 on David . Louis is a worthy finalist but I can’t justify him winning and I think David is probably the only person that could potentially stop him !
Very predictable outcome tonight unfortunately :(

gave all my votes to David who has been consistently brilliant for me

David is the one that grew on me the most, he was my least fave for the first fee days but grew on each day thereafter, if he did win he win it would prob mean the most to him from the ones left.

Poor result but expected. Surely Colson is going to be the shock evictee tomorrow.

I’m voting Nikita now but think voting Fern is the best way to stop a Louis win.

Gave all 5 of my votes to Fern!

My prediction;

6th: Bradley

5th: Nikita

4th: Colson

3rd: David

2nd: Fern

Winner: Louis

My prediction:

6th. Colson

5th. Bradley

4th. Nikita

3rd. David

2nd. Fern

WINNER: Louis

The “Fern out chants” was so satisfying to me knowing that I wasn’t actually crazy in seeing her completely horrific personality throughout the show. It’s a shame that it’s because she seemingly offended Nikita that it happened and that her dire behaviour and attitudes towards younger women will be forgotten about.

I still have a feeling she’s winning though even more so now she’s the only woman left.

For the most part I've not minded Fern, I've not really warmed to her or found her particularly entertaining on the whole but she's not been an unpleasant presence. She made the entire situation with Nikita really awkward, though. It's mostly production's fault, by revealing information about Nikita's nominations (you know, the process they're punished for talking about), but Fern dancing around the subject created a weird atmosphere and she then basically talked over Nikita's explanation in the garden. Confusing.

I've voted 3x Nikita and 2x Bradley right now, would also be very happy to see David win. Nikita's my first choice based on the series though so I'll move my votes entirely to him when the voting re-opens.

I am hoping for a Louis win mainly because I put £10 on him the other day when he was about 7th favourite at 10/1 odds so I would get a nice little £100 win.
her completely horrific personality

her dire behaviour

attitudes towards younger women

Could you list some examples to support these statements?

I don’t even overly like Fern - but dire and horrific? What has she really even done? :o

There’s still no basis for labelling her as specifically having problems with “younger women”. If I’m going to be frank about this, it’s quite an ageist and bordering on misogynistic accusation to level at her, without there being clear evidence of it. Boiling down a personality clash with Ekin-Su as something more than it really was, it just seems unnecessary to me and a bit wild.

I agree with this, and I dislike it when Big Brother manipulates situations like this. If there’s rules to play by, then at the very least Big Brother should play by its own rules. Them revealing Nikita’s nominations created an awkwardness between Nikita & Fern because he couldn’t talk more about it as that would then be talking about nominations! Leading to a weird atmosphere between them. That was unfair to them both, to artificially create tension. ITV… don’t do this. :drama:

I feel similarly about Big Brother stating one thing to Fern - "Put this snake on the bed of the housemate you want to be evicted and they’ll go immediately", only to turn around and be like "tehehe so this actually saved the housemate from nominations". Purely as a cheap "gotcha!" moment to the viewers and to Fern. Who was then put into a position of having to admit it, which she clearly felt uncomfortable to do.

Essay alert, but I have more thoughts about Nikita and Fern that I’d like to share!

There was obvious miscommunication between them - mostly on Fern’s end, for sure.

I don’t think the issue from Fern’s perspective was ever really specifically about a striped jumper. From my interpretation, this was something Fern launched off of, to try and share something she was feeling in a wider sense about how she feels she’s perceived & treated vs. how she actually feels and wishes to be treated.

However, she wasn’t expressing herself at all clearly - so it was understandable that Nikita was confused & sensed hostility. I think Nikita’s reaction made Fern decide to immediately put on the brakes and try to backtrack. Which sometimes is the worst thing to do. Because in this situation Nikita clearly wanted clarity to be able to move forward, but Fern clamped down in an attempt to diffuse what she’d started - which just had the opposite effect.

It was ultimately an awkward moment. For me, it was quite an interesting insight into human nature, regarding how different personality types handle (or mishandle) an argument and how they react in this scenario.

Do I think this specific interaction was worthy of "Get Fern Out!" chants? Nope. Was the argument a clear sign that Fern is fundamentally a dreadful person? No!

Completely agree, exactly how I feel but wouldn’t have been able to articulate anywhere near as well.

Some of the OTT Fern hate is utterly baffling  Making out like she's Grace or some shit

Anyway, to win;

4/5 Louis Walsh

9/4 David Potts

8/1 Nikita Kuzmin

25/1 Colson Smith

25/1 Fern Britton

40/1 Bradley Riches

Grace was a way better HM

9/4 David Potts

8/1 Nikita Kuzmin

25/1 Colson Smith

25/1 Fern Britton

40/1 Bradley Riches

Odds seem to suggest its between Louis and David, everything online seems to be between Louis and Nikita.

Still think Fern will be top 2 though and may even win

Other than David and maaaaaybe Fern, this is an absolute piss poor final imo. One of the worst.

David would be my ideal winner! He has been quite a revelation. I have to admit I prejudged him on launch night, which I wish I hadn't done, and I was certainly proved wrong. David genuinely seems like a sweetheart and is also very amusing, quick-witted and bubbly. I think he'd be a very satisfying winner, if we want it to be somebody who has been memorable but not for controversial~ reasons.

I have a soft spot for Bradley. I would at least like him to make it into the final 5!

Could you list some examples to support these statements?

She’s also had issues with Nikita too. Strange that the male housemate who’s young and not British and the female who’s young and not British she’s clashed with then the non British royal is the one she’s not keen on. It seems a pattern that she isn’t keen on those younger than her unless they’re English born and bred. I can’t see how others cant see how awful she is and to think she was one of the ones I was really rooting for when I seen the line up. I had no idea she was like this

The way Nikita and Ekin both happen to be attractive too is another thing too. Given she’s struggled with her weight in the past I wonder if that was a reason for her not being fond of the gorgeous Ekin Su given she nominated her over a bikini or something didn’t she?
