Jackson 5 star enters Big Brother House

 

Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine stunned British TV viewers when he was announced as the first of 11 contestants to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house last night.

 

The former Jackson 5 star promised the show's host Davina McCall that both Michael and sister Janet will be watching the reality programme avidly over the next few weeks to chart his progress on it.

 

Wearing a long burgundy coat trimmed with gold, he made a peace sign to the crowd as he walked towards the house, where he was joined by singer Leo Sayer, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, Towers of London rocker Donny Tourette, and legendary film director Ken Russell, among other British stars.

 

Last to enter the house was actor Dirk Benedict, best known for playing Templeton 'The Face' Peck in hit 1980s show The A-Team.

 

He prompted huge cheers from the waiting crowd when he arrived in a replica of the famous black and red A-Team van.

 

He said: "I have no idea why I am here. What am I doing? I offer myself up as a sacrifice for the A-Team."

 

The winner of the competition is the last celebrity to be evicted in public votes over the next 25 days.

Fears that Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jermaine Jackson may share his brother Michael's penchant for plastic surgery have been sparked after the singer sported a bizarre plaster arrangement on his nose.

 

The former Jackson Five star stunned viewers when he appeared on screen yesterday with strips of tape covering his nostrils. Cosmetic surgeon Apostolos Gaitanis says, "The way the strips have been placed is the way we put them when we do rhinotip surgery. "These are like light paper stitches that must be kept on night and day for five or six days to keep the skin in the desired position."

 

Jackson is one of the favourites to win the TV contest, which is on (groan) for another six weeks.

When he was announced I was like "Oh dear, a Jackson is entering, now you KNOW it's going to be an amazing show! :rofl: " but then he turned out to be quite rubbish. :(

I really like Tito who has been a judge on 'Just The Two Of Us'. He is a great judge and a really nice guy. I also don't mind Jermaine and quite like him although he is far too quiet and serious to appear on a show like Celebrity Big Brother and that is why he is appearing as fairly boring.
