Sebastian was released in 1973 but was too long and experimental to get radio airplay. I heard it maybe once or twice over the years and loved it, but never got round to buying it so it never charted for me. So, for the first time, the record topping my 50-year-review charts is also topping my current charts, I've been obsessed by it for 4 weeks to the extent that it has prevented actual John Lennon classic topping my 1973 weekly revamps. It's sort of a Glam sci-fi orchestral choral masterpiece of 7 minutes that seems like 3 minutes as it ebbs and flows and tells a strange story. Elsewhere just 2 entries as Paloma Faith and Lucia & The Best Boys add to their current chart totals, which gives me an opportunity to chop the chart down to 80, phew! Dario G adds to his top 10's with a message everyone should follow, while Gustaph goes top 10 where his Eurovision entry fell short of the top 40. Dua Lipa has a big Houdini leap into the 40, and Dolly replaces herself in the 40. Story now at 2! New peak, such an earworm! Bad Woman sounding good on radio 2 too, theyve dropped How You Leave now, but I'm having a resurgence on my car CD with it (but still dropping) :lol: Poor Olivia, I've just gone full on with the Hunger games track though, very subtle but grows Cheers for the picks and comments!
