Posted December 15, 20231 yr I've just seen this link appear on Facebook: Â It goes live in 2 hours. The description mentions "100% of the profits from every download will go towards the work of the Trussell Trust and their network of food banks in the UK." My bet is that it will be a melody of their previous 5 songs, so they can say "SEE, IT'S NOT A NEW SONG! HAHA AREN'T WE CLEVER, NOW BUY OUR SONG OR WE WILL CRY."Â These grifters don't know when to quit. It honestly depresses me, they have destroyed a once great tradition.
December 15, 20231 yr Hmm I assumed they’d be throwing their weight behind Creator Universe. I genuinely don’t think they’ll succeed if they release again. But it could be a good thing if they take some attention away from the other charity release and neither gets to #1.
December 15, 20231 yr I'm guessing it'll be for Creator Universe. Maybe they'll be in the video since they've got a big following. It's a bit cryptic, but they wouldn't want to try again using their brand if they know they could lose. Edited December 15, 20231 yr by Chloe🎄
December 15, 20231 yr I think they’re just putting a mix of all their stuff in a new release for an extra few £ for charity and not really trying for Christmas number 1? We shall see
December 15, 20231 yr Technically that video just features one of their songs throughout, so if it were to get noticed again then their debut We Built This City would likely get the downloads from the attention drawn.
December 15, 20231 yr Well tbf the video is to encourage downloads of any of the previous ones so the intention is to boost sales and encourage downloads :P

December 15, 20231 yr At least in the case of The X Factor, it wasn't the same artist. Might as well have been with the cut and paste formula of their winner's singles!
