It didn't feel right to give Dua a 5th week at #1, as only 3 songs have ever managed that for me and as much as I like Houdini, it's not up there for me. At the same time, there's no other new songs that felt quite #1-worthy at the moment, so I decided to just give the top spot to a favourite Christmas song of mine! The Waitresses previously made #1 in 2021, and now they're there again. If you're looking for something a bit fresher, Tokischa has her 2nd top ten at #6 alongside a chart debut for Sexyy Red, and Rina earns her 17th top ten with Flavour Of The Month. Sabrina Carpenter festively bookends the top ten with her first chart entry. Declan McKenna's last few releases haven't caught my attention as much as he used to, but I'm liking the chilled vibes of Elevator Hum. Hey Ansel! Houdini continuing to slay. And Of course lovin on me doing well too. I actually think I prefer this over Houdini now. You're losing me is gorgeous. I actually found myself humming it last night as I crept into bed. Just for me, I don't think I'd return to it. The first time I heard Christmas wrapping was when the Saturdays covered it. I've heard the original since then but yeah, it's a bop! Both Houdini and lovin on me both continuing to slay. I'm ready to hear duas next song and in really liking Jack's new one with Dave. You're losing me still top 10 :wub: gutted to see it slide out of the official top 40 this week, mostly cause if Christmas I get but I guess as well that's a lot of people have already had their fill of this song. Nooo not dang tumbling this week. It's so gooood. Story and tension both taking a tumble as well :snif: Fab chart ^_^
