Goodbye is a pop ballad that lyrically consists of the group's farewell to a friend, specifically Geri Halliwell. The song became the group's first song without her vocals. The song was a commercial success, peaking atop the UK Singles Chart and making the Spice Girls the first act to have had three consecutive Christmas number-one singles since The Beatles in 1965. The accompanying music video was filmed at Mentmore Towers and featured the group singing the song at a castle.

Definitely too much Spice in the Top 20! Glad 2 just became 1.

Rockabye is a song by British electronic group Clean Bandit featuring English singer Anne-Marie and Jamaican singer and rapper Sean Paul. The song became 2016’s Christmas number one on December 23, 2016, beating the likes of Rag'n'Bone Man, Little Mix, Zara Larsson, Mariah Carey, Matt Terry and Louis Tomlinson & Steve Aoki to the Christmas number one spot. It is the first song in chart history to become Christmas number one after already being at the top of the charts for six weeks.

Decent results for The Beatles really given the overall recency bias. I put Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out at the top because the 2 sides are so brilliantly complementary.

Poor Ernie (Ernie) he didn't drive the fastest milkcart in the west for this -_- That and The Scaffold were the only two I pointed. Blobby and Bob The Builder in the top 30 too is very pleasing x

 

Band Aid and Slade definitely feel like the best Christmas classics here so good to see them so high, I have a soft spot for I Will Always Love You as my birthday number 1 and Rockabye is still one of the best 'normal' entries here and only just missed my votes.
