January 1, 20241 yr Presuming the Lewis Capaldi deluxe is digital only? Not sure it'll do enough to get the album back to #1 without physicals even with the very low bar this week (especially with it being a midweek release of course). Ezra Collective *.* where did they perform?

Ezra Collective *.* where did they perform? Yeah, just digital for Lewis. Ezra Collective were on Graham Norton!

January 12, 20241 yr I guess D-Block Europe will finally get a #1 album, it’s a shame The Reytons didn’t release this week instead of next versus Green Day. 4. The Vaccines 5. D-Block Europe 6. Magnum 7. NOW Yearbook Extra - 1988 8. Bill Ryder-Jones 10. Luxury Soul 2024 14. Marika Hackman 20. Exit Eden 21. Unknown T 24. The Ironsides 25. Admin van Buuren
January 12, 20241 yr 21 Savage has an album out this week too, I'm hopeful he might have a chance at blocking D-Block Europe? His last release did get to #1 after all :magic: (although it was a Drake collab so cheating a bit). Ignoring 'Her Loss' his last project as lead artist did 6.8k first week debuting at #10, compared to DBE's last doing 7.5k to debut at #6, and I think 21 definitely has more potential to improve on that than DBE do, I'm not seeing how they're going to improve at all based on their singles success which is even more lacklustre than last time. If DBE do similar or lower numbers than last time then there's got to be at least a fair chance that won't be enough for #1 anyway even if they are the top new entry. edit: also The Vaccines' last album did comfortably more in its first week than both of the above (11.3k debuting at #5) so I think they may actually be the favourites depending on physical formats, I've not looked into their release Then again, this DBE release is apparently an 'album' rather than a 'mixtape' and for all the lack of real distinction there is between those things, their 2 previous 'albums' were indeed their 2 highest peaking projects so who knows, maybe they will magically sell more this time.
January 12, 20241 yr Ah, I didn’t realise The Vaccines sold over 10k - that’s good to see! Hopefully this one will pull in similar numbers, especially as I feel as though this one has had better promo/fan reception.

January 13, 20241 yr The press of Shed Seven getting to #1 seems to have done alright for them. They're still at #1 on iTunes and now up to #8 on Apple Music.

January 19, 20241 yr An early look… Big (comparatively) pop-punk albums don’t come around often, so I’m surprised Neck Deep are releasing theirs on the same day as Green Day. 1. Green Day 4. Saxon 5. South Of Salem 7. NOW 12” 80s: 1982 - Part 1 8. Neck Deep 9. Black Grape 12. Jeremy Renner 13. Sleater-Kinney 26. Lil Dicky And yes, that is *the* Jeremy Renner!
January 19, 20241 yr Author Looking forward to listening to the new Green Day album, what’d their last release sell?
