Alec Benjamin has been releasing tracks almost definitely from his forthcoming fourth* studio album, hopefully coming this year!

 

 

 

 

My ranking of the singles so far:

 

1 I Sent My Therapist to Therapy (Alec at his best, storytelling at the forefront)

2 Pick Me (fun, light-hearted and relatable, an astute take on dating apps)

3 Different Kind of Beautiful (solid, great song, just not going to go down as one of his absolute best for me)

 

* I put an asterisk because Alec's debut, Narrated for You, was initially marketed as a "mixtape" (a label decision no doubt as there's nothing to distinguish it from his later releases) but Alec's recently referred to it as an album.

Yeah, 'Therapy' was excellent, and the new one's not quite up there with that but still decent. Didn't think much of 'Beautiful' so I agree with your order!
