..What....? No one's gonna even talk about this....??? Absolute bloody GENIUS!!! The best piece of comedy that I have seen in a very, VERY long time.... The almost two-hour run-time just totally whizzed by.... Jo and Statham 'on the run' was just utterly inspired, the Guy/Mac/Caroline love triangle came to an absolutely sublime climax as well.... Sod the wedding in "Vicar of Dibly", the girls in the office suddenly going all "Lord of the Flies" in Joanne's absence was brilliant as well....

 

Why on earth Channel 4 kept this utter gem until after the Festive Season is an utter mystery to me....

It was amazing! Apartfrom them killing off like 3/4s of the characters ahaha.

 

I taped it though, it really is amazing. Especially the part where Alan & Joanna are in the mobile home and Alan starts singing the "Come Mr Taliban, tali mi mana" song, legend.

 

tbh, we were dissappointed. much though i love the green wing, and i agree, it is the best comedy for many years, i thought this 'wrapping up' episode was tired. predictably so, like vicar of dibley these finales are often poor.

 

still highly amusing, but it lacked to belly laughs that ive so often come acustomed too.

Well, Green wing has been an obsession of mine for the last two years, but I felt the last episode fell a bit flat. It might have been because I wasn't feeling 100% (Will watch it again on DVD this week) but I dunno, I just didn't find too many things funny.

 

Although Alan's argument with the cows was amazing! :lol:

 

I think it coulda had a better send off.

What a shock - people + buzzjack and they dont like it.

 

The thing with Green Wing is it never really has full proof plots so even trying to tie it up would have been awkward to do - so it just ended in madness like always.

 

Funniest 2 hours of comedy I have seen in a long time. Absolutely sad to see it go - way before it's time.

 

My favourite bit was probably "we need to hide the body" and they pour cornflakes on her. :D :D :D
