Disturbed - The Sound of Silence may have done enough for a reset too as a new dance remix got released last Friday, impossible to tell though as neither version made the Spotify top 200 this week but the remix is #3 on iTunes so has at least some baseline popularity here.

Flowers is comfortably in the top 40 on all three major platforms (and #9 on Amazon), seems clear to me it would spend the next few weeks in the top 40 if it gets reset.

Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls was also up 24.93% but is ineligible for a reset.

When I Was Your Man was also up a considerable amount on Spotify, I'd guess around 50%, but is also ineligible.

Well it was the song she was initially pushing, 'Kill Bill' just took off more because it was more organically popular (correctly so imo xx).

'Flowers' has been ridiculously high on Amazon since it started dropping elsewhere last spring - perhaps it didn't have room to register much of a boost there which brought down its overall increase this week.

because WIWYM got reset and charted last year, and see this note from the FAQ thread:

 

Can a song on ACR get back onto SCR?

Yes. A song on ACR can be reset to SCR if it experiences an increase in streams 25% greater than the market change week on week, provided it is within 3 years of its release. The song will be reset on the week it experiences the increase.

 

New rule: Any song (excluding Christmas songs) older than 3 years may be automatically reset under the same circumstances if the track has not charted in the Top 100 singles chart within the past 3 years.

In exceptional circumstances a record label may request a manual reset to SCR. Manual reset shall be strictly subject to Official Charts and CSC approval. If the label have any good reason for resetting the track (such as the release of a music video or it getting TikTok vitality), it will get one.

 

although for whatever reason Fast Car and EBYT didn't get a reset this week either, they probably gained too late in the week to register

It seems odd that all of those songs missed out, maybe it's just a coincidence that all of them happened to fall a little short but makes you wonder if the OCC have silently changed the rule yet again.
