Thats the only problem with downloads. I do download songs that i like which are normall songs i'm not likely wanting to buy a whole album by that artist. However i addictively by cds from Girls Aloud, Delta Goodrem, Darren Hayes, Roue Traders and others. Not having a physical cd would be really strange

I agree about buying the CDs, it would seem empty, and meaningless without them! :huh:

Especially for rare tracks which you can find on B-sides only, for me I prefer to own an orioginal copy, but I don't buy singles no more, I only buy rare 7 inch vinyls like Coloured or Picture Discs vinyls

They are slowly disappearing from shelves especially CD singles, some retail stores only put out Top 20, in some dark corner of the shop

I don't think they care that much to be honest. They'll sell them so long as there is benefit to the people selling them, whether it's making an out and out profit from them, or because they are a marketing tool.

 

In the future, I think CD singles will move towards being speciality, collectors items for all but the biggest artists.
