March 9, 20241 yr Author Melodifestivalen Last weekend, the fifth and final heat of 2024's Melodifestivalen aired, which meant every song to participate in the contest was made available (as per the rules, the finalists cannot be released until all five heats have aired). The result is five Melfest songs in my top 10, adding to the two songs to have already made the top tier this year (matching 2020's record of seven Melfest top 10 hits), and ten in my top 40. 2024 also marks the eighth year in the past nine where a Melfest song has reached #1 in my chart, with Marcus & Martinus making it two years in a row. March 9, 20241 yr Hey Joseph! That is a crazy amount of new entries this week. To be fair, there are so many new songs releasing now that are actually so good! Von Dutch is great. It might actually be my favourite Charli song as well. Miss me too is good as well. That one should enter for me soon! Dizzy is alright. As Eurovision songs goz it's bangin but as a song on its own merits? Not so much! I guess in that way, it reminds me of acooch a little. It sounds nothing like flying the flag obviously. Fab chart ^_^
