We all get something different out of songs, but which songs make you feel happy everytime you hear it you just want to sing along with it, it picks you up on a boring day.

 

Alternatively which song just makes you sad, and brings tears to your eyes when it comes on.

 

My happy song is the B52's and Love shack , can't help singing that one out loud :dance:

 

my sad song is the Cars and Drive, not sure whether its the lyrics,the music, the sad video or remembering its showing at Live Aid, but everytime I hear it I just feel like :cry2:

My happy song has to be, yes you've guessed it, an Elvis one ;) :lol: The Laughing version of Are You Lonesome Tonight. Never fails to make me smile.

on topic $h!te-i dunno quite a few songs have ****ing wonderful lyrics that get me and make cry, i ts really hard just to choose 1 song from each.

Oh great choice of B52s, seriously you're right - no one could think that song wasn't happy.

Sad - Waiting for a girl like you - Foreigner. It was mine and my late husband's "our song" and for that reason makes me cry but for one song that I cannot listen to at all, for any reason at any time it has to be Old Shep by Elvis. If that comes on the radio, its turned off straight away and I dont have a copy of it despite being an Elvis fan since childhood I heard that song two days after my puppy dog died when I was eight and even now the memory of it just makes me want to bawl my eyes out.
