With the new rules in place for the offical UK100 singles chart, Chasing Cars has re entered the chart in at number.......................................9 :o :o :o :o

The new rules consist of singles able to chart from the moment they are availible for download, so it could be any song from an album that could enter the chart, not just the ones that get the CD release. Also CD's that get deleted does not affect it still being availible on download so Chasing Cars could have spent weeks and weeks in the chart ^_^

If the CD wasn't deleted, they could have made it to number 1!!!! I hope it will be the biggest selling single of 2007
i agree they messed up in a way as chasing cars i agree could have went all the way to number 1 and they sholuld have delayed set the fire for release until around now

I wonder when the new single is out? I predict Chasing Cars will have a long life in the charts now. It is played everywhere though.
It is soo unbelievable that Chasing Cars didn't get to no.1, but re entering the chart is great news, what they deserve. :cheer:

'Chasing Cars,' seems to be falling quite quickly since the new chart rules came into place, do you think this is because people have stopped downloading it because of how high it was or just a coincidence?
I THINK ITS JUST A COINCIDENCE IT WAS OUT OF THE CHART AND TO COME IN IN THE TOP 10 WAS GREAT SO THE FALL ISNT TO MUCH OF A SHOCK
