It's the first and last song from 2020s decade in this countdown.

The results of semifinal 1 in 2012 were very painful, all my favourites (top 4 from that year) didn't qualified into the final.

I really like this song , Molly was shaky/nervous vocally for the first few seconds of the performance but she really got going as she headed to the first chorus, she did well for a 16 year old, at the time i think the staging let it down but its a very solid ballad that i felt should have went through to the final.

Until 2024 year Ireland and Lithuania were only two countries, that never sent the songs, which I hate. Both chains were broken by awful entrires in this year.

I don't like both Jedward entries, but don't hate them.

In past Ireland is the one from the most successful countries in my Eurovision rankings, especially in 70s decade.

All top 3 results for Ireland :

1970 : Dana - All Kinds Of Everything (Winner)

1972 : Sandie Jones - Ceol An Ghra (Winner)

1973 : Maxi - Do I Dream (Winner)

1974 : Tina Reynolds - Cross Your Heart (3rd place)

1981 : Sheeba - Horoscopes (2nd place)

1985 : Maria Christian - Wait Until The Weekend Comes (2nd place)

2007 : Dervish - They Can't Stop The Spring (2nd place)

2015 : Molly Sterling - Playing With Numbers (2nd place)

2020 : Lesley Roy - Story Of My Life (Winner)

47 years gap between Irish wins (1973-2020) is a record, Switzerland was the previous record holder with 42 years (1958-2000).

22. Evdokia Kadi - Femme Fatale (Cyprus - 2008)

It's the most unpredictable entry from top 50 and my second favourite from Cyprus, only behind wonderful "Apopse As Vrethoume" (my # 1 from 1989 year).
