He beats fellow new-album-releaser Dua Lipa to the top spot, meaning she has to settle for second place with Whatcha Doing (the 4th top 2 of the era), although Dua does beat Alizzz to the #1 album. This week, weirdly, we have 2 songs with Maria in the title (courtesy of Dua and Ukraine's Eurovision entry), while one of the Alizzz tracks features another Maria! I do think it's a bit too oberhyoed for what it is but I can't really argue with the majority right? Looks like Florida is you're favourite on the album then. I'm not gonna lie, when those drums kick in at the point Florence sings her part, it's so elating. Good luck babe is superb. Very Marina ala froot and Primadonna. Aw shame you're not into Espresso, I think it sounds great in the sun atm! Florida is defo my fav from TTPD, Florence rly elevates it. Yes definitely hearing the Marina influence on Chappell, really glad it's turned into such a smash for her! Considering how well Marina's older tracks (esp The Family Jewels) do on streaming these days, I rly think Marina would've been way bigger if she'd had TikTok at the start of her career. Aw sorry about the Ariana fall continuing, I haven't listened to it in a while and there's a lot of good stuff to fit in above it :lol:

Different for Caroline but understandable given it's for this movie. Speaking of which, it looks really good. I'll definitely be giving it a watch at some point. For sure. And again, Caroline never misses does she. If she's had any input on this song, it wouldn't surprise me. Oh feck that fall for we can't be friends. I'm deid Jim. ^_^
