Other notable high appearances include ABBA at #3, Judy Garland at #4, David Beckham at #6, Madonna at #7 and Audrey Hepburn at #8. The Aussie songstress has bounced back after getting the all-clear in her cancer fight and is back in the hearts of gay fans. Runner-up in the poll was another diminutive dame - Country and Western legend Dolly Parton. Busty Dolly won the admiration of an army of gay fans with camp anthems such as 9 to 5 and Jolene. More than 5000 gay men and women took part in the poll, which saw ABBA take third place. Ostentatious outfits, cheesy pop songs and dodgy dancing secured their place as true gay icons. In fourth place was Judy Garland, whose lifelong battles with drink, drugs and men, have assured her a place in gay iconography. Her daughter Liza Minnelli was not far behind in 10th place. Never ones to be left out, the Beckhams featured prominently - David in sixth place and Victoria at number 12.
