February still feels so soon for an album!!

 

Like will we get all the formats ready for release week etc? Idk I’ll believe if when she says it herself but I think the February 13 date might be for the second single with the album following after but not necessarily straight after! I can see the album coming around Coachella time maybe?!

 

If it is coming for Valentines Day it would be the ultimate Valentines Day / Birthday gift for me! But I hope there’s strong marketing to come alongside it!

She will announce the title, artwork, tracklist and release date on the 27th January.

I doubt it, Kendrick's Superbowl is on the 9th and he's also under Interscope. I doubt they would put her at risk of losing another #1 album to him (well, not so sure when it comes to Interscope). By the 21st, his SuperBowl effect should have worn off and she would have a clear path.

I don't think 14th would be a problem. DWAS being on the album will give hefty streaming units anyway.

She's crazy to drop on the 14th. Kendrick's Superbowl will be on the 9th and physicals for his new album will be shipping out. His album is sure to sell over 100,000 during Superbowl week and the following week (which starts on the 14th). DWAS will only give around 20-25k for the album in its debut week. She's going to need more than just 2 weeks of pre-order if she wants to debut at #1 with a good lead.
