This is some kind of a YouTube video title that I'm not expecting at all in 2024 :cheeseblock: but they're still far from Taylor outside the streaming platforms. They gotta sell CD more in 2025.

Awich has joined the anime scene! :bratcheeseblock:

Creepy Nuts really changed the music meta in the anime scene. Now every producers are going for rappers. I'm confident Yuki Chiba/KOHH will be there too soon. Why not bringing back CHEHON and nobodyknows+ too? So yes, more J-Hip Hop in anime please.

I don't watch BanG Dream, but these really slapped. Smash Mouth should be proud for introducing them to UP.

Yay, BanG Dream! music appreciation!

Mujica The Die is Cast has been hectic and fun so far. The gothic elements fit well with the show's story and the overall band concept musically and visually.

Also, Japanese girls (2D/3D) and metal music is very cool and interesting (like BABYMETAL, etc.).

Just realised there hasn't been any game music sharing. So many great game music are by Japanese.

One is a soundtrack from an RPG game I enjoyed last year (related to the Persona games, which have highly memorable music) and the other from highly popular fighting series!

There are lot more other great stuff too, from JRPGs like Final Fantasy games to other genres to even Nintendo like Mario and Pokemon!

Track lists may be spoiler warning though so avoid if you have never played them especially story-driven games...

The long-awaited Orb: On the Movements of the Earth opening theme (sakanaction - Kaiju) is finally here! :cheer:

One of the biggest growers among the anime theme. This has been clicking really well on me now.

The new song is not exactly their strongest but it's nice to hear something alongside the great stuff from (and before) the highly fascinating GIRLS BAND CRY anime (it's already been 11 months ago that show started)!

Have been enjoying HANABIE songs for several months now, they're quite a revelation - particularly their debut song Osake Ni Shitsurei Shimasu (translated as 'Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now' but just a stock phrase to mean 'excuse me, I'm going') that was a call-out on Japanese sexist corporate culture.

So, while I was digging up for new songs, I discovered this new J-Pop girl group called HANA. Their latest single ROSE is surprisingly big at the moment, even competing with bands like sakanaction, King Gnu, and the inevitable Mrs. GREEN APPLE.

This could be a breath of fresh air for Japanese idols to compete with the K-Pop industry, though their journey is still a long way to go.
