Pink Pony Club is for sure a moment live, that's the last song she does and she gets the crowd to sing a part of it and it's almost overwhelming how loud everyone is, I think Femininomenon was the loudest one for my show though which is what she opened with. My favourite ones live were Good Luck Babe and My Kink Is Karma, the latter always has a special place in my heart, now even more so

Also happy b-day to this album! :cheer:

By my estimates, "HOT TO GO!" should be certified 2x Platinum in late October, which would make it Chappell's third multi-platinum song. @Tafty @Scene

So I’ve just completed my first ever listen of the album and I quite enjoyed it.

It feels like a cross between Lana Del Rey & Marina & The Diamonds.

I can see myself coming back to it again.

Great week again here in Ireland for her.

Number 2 in the albums

Singles

Good luck Babe Number 2

Hot to Go new peak of number 6

Pink Pony Club new peak of number 9

Chappell Roan has been getting a lot of heat the past few days for not endorsing Kamala and stating things like both sides are bad etc despite making numerous videos to clear this up she still got heavy backlash and has responded by cancelling some more shows

Good that she is taking her time off - it's been an overwhelming rollercoaster ride for her recently for sure. Hope she realizes that it is totally fine and possible to be a big star on her own terms - just look at Kate Bush, Enya etc. She doesn't need to go on tour if she doesn't want to (the last thing to do is to announce and then cancel them).

She has Bipolar (something she has spoken about before she blew up) and when announcing tour dates, how do you know how people feel? It’s their job and people “call in sick” for their jobs all the time, so I don’t see how this is any different.

I’d much rather they cancelled a day before the show (as annoying as it would be in terms of travel and hotels etc..) than give a performance where they’re not fully in the headspace to give the show they want.

The problem Is she has now cancelled a few of her shows making it mean she is unreliable, when Amy winehouse announced a tour I didn't buy tickets as she was well known for cancelling dates, it is a good job I didn't as she cancelled.

It's a festival appearance she's cancelled due to sickness, because it's mental health related it doesn't make her "unreliable" just someone who knows how to prioritise the important things. Okay she's bipolar but that's a pretty harmful stereotype to put late decisions down to that, to me she's just pushed through until she's hit her breaking point, like jonjo said - how is she meant to know how she's going to feel weeks beforehand? I don't think she'd cancel unless she really, really had to as it's clear she loves performing given how much she puts into her shows. The last 6 months or so has clearly been a lot for her, people just don't like that she's not afraid to set boundaries and do what's best for her, anyone who is reacting negatively to this really needs to do some inner reflecting to find out why they're so triggered by a girl looking after herself.

The political stuff was scewed to make her look like she's sitting on the fence but anyone who knows her and actually listens to what she says knew what she was trying to say without the further explanation.

People, especially people who've relatively recently been thrust into fame, can't and shouldn't be expected to handle being the discussion of discourse online. Especially when you're being misconstrued for holding what seem like very common sentiments for a 26-year old progressive American. Honestly this is entirely normal and all support to her.
The certifications are flying in for her at the moment, she will easily get a few platinum singles under her belt by the end of the tear with how things are going for her at the moment.

She got ROBBED at the MTV EMAs. :( Not that they matter much. Not a single win for her, GLB or the album.
I really thought she would have got something at the mtv EMA's so hopefully she gets at least a grammy to make up for it,
