June 15, 20241 yr Wish these guys would shut up about Yamal's age - let the lad stand on his own merits. We got the memo the first time, the hundredth time was unnecessary. Yes it's an amazing achievement but there's 21 other players on the bleeding pitch. Shame this pair of clowns after such good commentary on the other match. I’d say the opposite. Yes, the commentator prop ably said too much about Yamal\s age, but overall he was far better than Matterface and the dreadful Tyldesley.
June 15, 20241 yr Italy really dominated that game, but not a bad game at all for Albania. Here's hoping they can do something more against Croatia.
June 15, 20241 yr Italy were always gonna get back into it, I'm just surprised they didn't end up winning by a 3 or 4 goal margin. They seemed to take their foot off the gas in the second half but they're definitely ones to watch going forward.
June 16, 20241 yr Spain looked good but I felt a 3-0 win was a big harsh on Croatia. In an attacking sense, Croatia looked alright but they look a lot less assured in the defence as they usually do so I think Modric's international career might just whimper out unfortunately. The pundits discussion around Spain's defence was ridiculous. They were acting like they were playing a bunch of nobodies and not the captain and a goalscorer from the team that just won the Champions League final! They were making out like Cucurella was some huge weak link that makes it impossible for them to win the Euros. They have a better defence than us! I'd feel more comfortable with Cucurella at LB than Guehi at CB. I thought Albania gave a good account of themselves. Italy looked miles off it. But, to be fair, they didn't really put in any good performances in the knock-outs at the last Euros and they still won it :lol:
June 16, 20241 yr Italy have a good manager but he will need to get a good team from them as a lot of their players aren’t as well known outside Italy!
June 19, 20241 yr Croatia v Albania has 'first 0-0' of the tournament written all over it. I'd be surprised if they make many attempts on target between them.
