June 20, 20241 yr When Argentina won the World Cup they kept Martinez on the bench despite the fact he’s a great CB, Spain’s dominant team left out some great players. When Brazil couldn’t choose between Kaka and Ronaldinho they fell apart. When England couldn’t pick Gerrard or Lampard it failed. The team always has to come first. That’s why I think Foden might need to be dropped. Serbia have two great centre forwards who work well up front on their own but they couldn’t choose between them and instead played both and it just doesn’t work. I was half-distracted towards the end of the match - what actually happened for all the cups to get thrown and yellow cards being handed out like leaflets? Also from what I saw, Jovic was pushed then given a yellow card(??) so glad he scored that goal! Also a draw. :cheer:

June 20, 20241 yr Ah a real shame Slovenia couldn't keep that win - looks like they'll be hoping a draw against England will put them as one of the best third places.
