My husband had a lot of respect for Darius in 'Greasemania' He thought that they had given him the wettest song and he really turned it around. He was brilliant. I really thought that 'Live Twice' was going to be rock and would have loved that, He seemed to be getting more and more rocky with each performance. All he'll say now is 'Trust me'. I know what a couple may be like, I don't know whether I'll like them.

househusband to natasha doesnt seem to fit his mold. Although I put love and family life above money making evry day.

I keep dreaming he is going to be doing something more substansial than releasing an album..although I am desperate for that too, I just hope for bigger things for him..........................................................

 

Househusband? a name I haven't come across before. I always thought that D had too much pride and drive

to be put on a leash by a woman, no matter how deeply he was in love. Indeed it surprised me when he

moved in with Natasha. By moving into her territory it seemed to me that he was subjugating himself to her.

Surely it would have been wiser for any couple planning to co-habit to each sell their own property and to

set up a new home together, so that it didn't look as if the guy [or woman] was trying to have a free ride,

or cash in on contacts.But then there were the children to consider - maybe that would have been

too much of an upheaval for them. I agree that pop careers today are very short. I too hoped that D would

move on to bigger things. We can only wait and hope.........

Does anyone know whether they are engaged? Certainly Meg's photo seemed to show an engagement ring

on Natasha's finger.But knowing how full of things D usually is, it seems strange that he is not shouting it

from the rooftops if it is true.

He still bought his own place there as well though. It's better and less disruptive for the kids but that seemed like his, I'm doing this but I have my own place, little bit of independance. They would put the kids first. That's how it should be. I think they had problems when the first met but he is a major force in that family now. It's hard to find someone who loves you and you adore. I think that's working out great for them. I love to hear him talking about Natasha and the boys. He's so proud of all three of them.

I agree with everything you have said Megham, Darius seem so happy and realxed with his life with Natasha and the boys he seem to love them like his own which I think really nice and good for the boys, they came over with Natasha when Darius was in Guys and Dolls the people who were there said they looked like a really family. About the engagment I still not sure but when I read it in Closer the guy who was repoting it was over in LA when the Emmys were on so they might have said something themselves. :wub:

There are quite a few pics with Natasha wearing a ring on her engagement finger but it's up to them if they decide to confirm it or not. It makes no difference to me.

 

What will make a difference is that he will have chosen the woman who hopefully will

inspire him and support him in his future career, for the rest of his life. Her ideas

and beliefs may well affect his music. They may well have done so already, but

an engagenent confirms a longterm commitment.

Are you sure he has his own place? When he moved in with N I'm certain she was

quoted as saying that he was looking for a place but they had both agreed it made

more sense for them to live together.

I remember a DR article about Darius buying his own place in LA and in her interviews Natasha spoke about how she and Darius had been very careful and he had been introduced to the boys as Mummy's friend and they had time to get to know him on that basis for some time and they'd been careful not to be romantically affectionate around the boys. I'm sure he still had his London flat at that time, perhaps because he still had business interests there, which he may still have.

At the start of his career before he was a popstar and quite young he owned a flat in edinburgh didnt he which he rented out.

I think his parents actually bought the flat and I'm sure Aria also used it when he was studying medicine at the university but I also remember an article where Darius spoke about a huge flat he and student friends got for a minimal rent right in the heart of the Royal Mile and "social darius" and friends of the same ilk had tremendous regular parties there. He admitted that not much studying went on. I had that article until recently but I'm sure it was one of the ones I culled.

 

Didn't he make a big thing of the huge fishtank which divided the room?

I must have not read these interivews, as I cannot remember any of this info, interestiing stuff!

His place is now a studio in LA. Last I heard, the london apartment was still his. I haven't heard anything about his nightclub at all.

I have no idea which magazine this was shot for. The site I found it on said it was a 2007 shoot that had just been released of Natasha and her husband Darius Danesh. I wouldn't take the marriage thing to seriously though. We haven't even got an engagement confirmation. Lots of people could assume because they've been living together for a while they are married.

Morning :D I've just taken a break from the ironing to pop in and say that dear Fern just mentioned D on 'This Morning'! (She obviously stilll has him very much implanted in her mind!! :D ) They were chatting to Brian Friedman about the X Factor contestants and Brian was saying that his favourites were Niki and Rhydian - at which point Fern asked if Brian remembered Darius and likened him to Rhydian in the context that people either 'love him or hate him' and how after initial dislike opinions changed for the better Brian Friedman had never heard of D - but he has now!!! :lol:

I's good to hear he was mentioned. I like Fern and Phillip.

 

I love the way Fern goes O.T.T. when D is around........she puts on a great act, but

she obviously genuinely likes him.Whereas Philip tries to catch him out with awkward

questions at times, which D parries nicely.
