Under 'Yahoo answers Darius Danesh' two days ago someone asked what had happened to D.

No-one seemed to know he is recording his third album, although one person said he had been

in the Wesr End in Chicago. No mention of Guys and Dolls, but one guy said he took his daughter

to see D, and D completely outshone Girls Aloud.

 

I have been registered on Yahoo for some time but have only ever looked-in about once or twice!! I went into 'Answers' to see if I could elaborate on D's progress but it wouldn't let me as the question was 'resolved'!! :( It certainly didn't seem very resolved to me!! :D Now I know what I'm doing over there I will keep my eye open for any D-related questions - the more info we can get out there, the better!!

(P.S. I keep wondering whether to register on Digitalspy as D quite often gets mentioned over there - so far I have resisted the temptation!! :rolleyes: )

 

I forgot to say that the girl who asked the original question had just heard 'Colourblind' on the radio. That was only 2 days ago and that is certainly good news to me as I have heard nothing from D on the radio for months!!! I wonder which station it was!

I go on digital spy all the time mostly whilst strictly come dancing is on and I never see D mentioned on there in any forums.

I may even listen to it if I knew. Not listening to as much radio has saved me a lot of money as I'm not tempted to buy. Girls Allowed are fine. The kids love them. I must admit to liking D better.

He has been mentioned several times recently in the 'X Factor Forum' under headings such as 'Bring back the Pop Idol format', Will we ever find another star', Your favourite ever 'X' factor competitor', etc. (They aren't the exact titles of the threads, but similar.) I get annoyed that although people say that D may have been their favourite, they don't seem to know anything about what he's done since Colourblind/Dive In - some do know about him appearing in Chicago. If people really liked him, surely they would at least check out his websites/myspace/bebo, etc!! Baytree is a member over there and she often enlightens them, but she has other things on her mind at the moment and I haven't seen her over there for a while!! She hasn't even been able to be on here much lately, either!! :(

I've been re-decorating with my brother's help. I don't know why I forgot we're chalk and cheese in the way we do it.

 

I do a bit at a time, moving the furniture as I go, and then have a little break before doing another bit but he has to have the room practically empty, all the paintwork has to be washed with sugar soap, masking tape has to be put in place all round and so on before the lid comes off the paint pot. There is no wasting time on any leisure activity.

Rachel has just put on that Darius is taking part in the Chicago 10th anniversary. I have tickets. If I'd known I'd have better tickets but at least I have tickets.

It doesn't and I don't have enough money for those type of tickets. I've got the restricted view cheapest of the cheap. Even if I'd known he was going to be there, I couldn't have afforded the more expensive.

Even the £100 tickets only get you the middle section of the upper circle. I think you get more with the £350 & £500 tickets and the £20,000 tickets get you entrance to the dress rehearsal, good seats and entrance to both parties. Tempting as it is, I'm giving those a miss too.

 

Its great that you are going Meg, you will be able to tell us all about it. Do hope you get to hear him sing.

So do I. I wanted to see the other Billy Flynns but not a fraction of the wanting to hear Darius singing again. It was just such a good oppotyunity to see a large number of the people cast in the past but having Darius added is like buying boiled sweets and finding they had turned into my favorite chocolates when I opened the package. I just wish I had better seats now.

It will surely be a great atmosphere just before Xmas.

More bad news on 19 management this time re the spice girls new single from the daily mirros 3 am girls. I know you cant believe every thing they write but here it is anyway.,

The spice girls comeback single is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Meant to whip up a frenzy before the tour download sales have been disappointing. To make things worse the single which is in the shops on monday is getting hardly any airplay. Humiliatingly it has been relegated to the C list on rado 1 which means it gets 1 play a day. Figures released at the beginning of the week show showed that Headlines barely shifted 300 copies when it was first available and limped into the charts at no.124. Since then it has struggled to a lowely20 after selling 4,907 copies and sources in the spice girls camp are privately fuming at how bad it is doing. One tells us they wanted it to be a surefire no.1 on downloads alone but it failed to connect with the public. we are not surprised this is the weakest thing they have done. It is not listed on lbc london and chris mpoyles slagged it off. The girls 19 management are also dismayed with headlines poor impact on the download market. One source said everyone is putting on a brave face but the focu is very much on the tour, they can always fall back on the success of that - lets hope so.

 

As I have said before not convinced by 19 management, have not seen any promotion for this single, they need to get their act together especially with no airplay but suppose they will rely on the tour to promote the album but it has strong opposition.

Just heard it on the box and agree with the comments made, it has no bite. 19 obviously cant choose right.

I think we noticed that with Darius' lead single last time.
