every time I see that John Barrowman on TV singing those god almighty mundane covers promoting his album..I wish it could be Darius instead!!! would love to see him doing a musical theatre spot on CIN..wasnt that John B last year..singing songs from all the musicals..is he the only one around!!!!
I wouldn't like to see him dong mundane covers. I'd be worried for him, that he'd given up his dreams.

whoops..no I didnt mean daiurs singing mundane covers..LOL..rather his own songs, or even songs from the musicals at a pinch, showing he is a west end star..

I just find these covers a yawn fest, JB was singing "you're so vain" ofr gods sake..a boring song when it was an original way back when..it is like some kareoke show, and I dont think his voice is THAT special either!!..it just appeared pointless listening

If it's what he wants to do, that's find by me. I just have more respect for Darius and I believe he has one of the best voices I've come across. This new album sounds as though we are really going to hear the quality of his voice this time with no overprocuction.
Im glad someone thinks the same about John barrowman as me because he is on every blimin programme going. wonder which label he is with. Think there will be another west end star comin up i.e. Rhydian on the x factor. Much better voice than JB and Lee mead who won joseph but I think its who you know!!! to a great degree.
I dont watch the x factor by the way only the one I mention because the rest are dire.
It's not my type of program. I can't be bothered with a program completely about the judges.

I've never regularly watched X Factor. I didn't watch Popstars The Rivals either, but I do admit I watched some, not all of PI2. I vividly remember the show with the last 3 ( I can't imagine why, can you?) and how shocked I was that Sam Nixon was voted out.
Sorry Baytree Sam nixon and mark were on children in need singing and I thought they were awful. It made me think how come they get a spot on there when they havent done much yet D doesnt. Did anyone see lee mead when his voice cut out, they made the excuse of a mike but I felt it was the tape that cut out because he was miming. it was a bit embarrassing.

we thought the same, was funny when the microphones didnt work for that Lee though..Sam and mark were cringeworthy, although sadly..they seemd to take themselves seriously..

and JB again, murdering an Elton John song..your song..he may do ok in a musial singing, but I find his voice quit unpleasant on the whole, Darius' voice genuinely makes me want to listen ..JBs makes me wish it was the end of the song! I was almost tempted to plege rather a lot of money for someone to cosh him. perhaps its just me, but it seemed ITV had paid for the rights to drag on all its presenters etc..and simon Cowell all his singers..it was really just an opportunity for some outrageous plugging..oh the miming spice girls and that awful dirge..and looking unappitising, plugging their tour..boyzone.."by the way buy our tour tickets on monday"..and leona and shane and John Barrowman plugging their records!

why cant they stick to humiliating newsreaders and the likes or having them sit in baths of cold baked beans....

I had to laugh at what you said PIP but totally agree. Dont understand the BBC plugging all of SCs artistes especially when they are at loggerheads over the ratings for each of their programmes viz strictly come dancing and the x factor. Just glad to see that the BBC s strictly is winning the battle. Every time there is a guest appearance it is one of SC

I didn't bother watching Children In Need. I only caught about ten minutes of the Scottish one.

I would have been watching the gardening programs on the other side..but sadly they have ended..and hubby reckoned nothing else to watch -

tbh, I watch very little television. The last thing I made an effort to catch was the drama My Boy Jack.
I, unfortunatelu, missed it completely. I was just too busy watching dry paint to see if it got any drier.
Snippet - according to WOS the auditions start next thursday for Gone with the wind.

How lovely was Darius in it though.

He was absolutely lovely to everyone, despite being so ill himself.

Thanks for the info, Preston.
