Well, that'll give Gareth, at least his third Tv program. He's been on Michael Barrymore, Pop Idol and now this. Will and Darius have 2 each, Dariusm Popstars and Pop Idol, and Will the competition on This Morning for the boy band and Pop Idol.

 

I'm not sure I'm not sure I want any of them to do anything else like this.

IMHO it's better to do something like DOI or Strictly Come Dancing and such shows, where someone genuinely enjoys learning a new skill, than programmes like I'm A Celeb, Celebrity Big Brother or worse still, Love Island, where people put themselves in the shop window and let themselves be humiliated for a fleeting burst of celebrity.

 

That said, I can't see Darius doing another Reality TV show.

 

 

The problem is how do you get yourself back out there are being away so long, im not very optimistic about 19s way of doing things so far. Wonder if hes got the same manager. Agree with what Baytree says about the type of programme to do where you learn a skill.

Darius will write a song that can't be resisted. He'll manage, he's not one to give up.

watching x factor last night made me miss Darius even more..they are so bad! How did that Leon get through..other than perhaps being a Gareth gates lookalike..but with a not so good voice..abismal, and Rydian wasnt entertaining either, I felt his voice had shown the best it was with the lift me up song..the second song was a disappointment, making me long to hear Darius singing Flower of Scotland again,

 

I dont want to ssee Darius prostituting himself on these cheap reality programs either, learning a skill is one thing as said, but some are just debasing.

I had a programme on this morning called Christmas Voices and Paul Potts was on. It's the first time I've heard him sing anything other than opera and I was disappointed. I thought his voice was quite ordinary, certainly lacking the warmth of Darius's.

 

I saw that too, I thought it was very ordinary to be honest, husband said he looked like a used car sales man doing kareoke at a party, I thought he had sounded beter than that when I saw clips of him winning that talent show -

There a another man, who used to be a mechanic? who has a far superior voice with much more resinence, I have caught him on TV performing once or twice and he has an exceptional voice, as BT says PP voice semed somewhat flat and lacking any depth or warmth, something I love about Darius' voice

Or Russel Watson? I have an Aunt who adores him.

I think Alfie Boe was the name..wasnt Russel Watson, I felt he had a better voice than Russel Watson. I have only seen him a couple of times on TV singing.

He was on the remembrance service from the albert hall and he has a new album out but yet again hardly any promotion probably not with sony bmg!!!

Darius got a mention in 'The Goss', Daily Star yesterday (really promotional news!! :rolleyes: )

Well Darius was almost the last to arrive, as the video of arrivals shows, and as usual he couldn't walk more than a few steps without someone stopping him. I remember at NUTS it went on inside too. It took him absolutely ages to make his way through the Banqueting Hall. He probably didn't get much chance to have a drink with his mates at the club.

Thursday night and I was DJ-ing at Drop, a new cafe/bar in Glasgow.

 

Guests included former River City actress Allison Mckenzie and big Brother's Federico Martone and an up and coming band Sonny Marvello.

 

Darius Danesh and his gorgeous Canadian girlfriend Natash Henstridge were rumoured to be attending though I didn't see either of them Aas I was pretty occupied playing records! Darius' cousin owns the bar.

 

Earlier in the day Darius had attended a photocall at The Cambridge, a theatre in London. It was awash with talent as a phalanx of former Chicago cast members returned for a special one-off 10th anniversary production of the sexy show.

 

Original cast members Ruthie Henshall, Ute Lemper, Henry Goodman and Nigel Planer were among a collection of nine Roxie Harts, seven Velma Kellys, six Billy Flynns, six Amos Harts and four Mama Mortons. Darius played Billy Flynn - I wonder what the handsome six-footer is up to next!

Wasn't that the day that Darius was supposed to be at a Princes Trust function in Northern Ireland ?- there was no mention of him being there either!!! According to Natasha's website, she attended a function in LA on 6/12! We seek him here, we seek him there......!!! :lol: He's very elusive when he wants to be isn't he!! :D Does anyone know how long he was staying for?

You see, that really irks me, she makes it sound, just as the Daily Star did, that Darius was merely a spectator at this gala..... He attended..... instead of making it clear he was part of the performance.

not sure but I think he might be back in LA for christmas to spend it with Natasha and the boys. or he might stay here and they come over here.

They could all go to her folks in Canada. They'd probably get a nice snowy Christmas there.

 

However they arrange it, I'm pretty sure they won't be apart at Christmas.
