Not your fault, megham. Sometimes big as he is, Darius can just suddenly appear appear out of the blue, sneak up on us when we don't expect it.

That particular clip doesn't give the idea of quite how spectacular the scene was in reality. IMHO Norman looks quite round shouldered and laid back - he does all the moves but sometimes looks like he's out for a stroll.

Darius quite simply looked magnificent throughout.

I guess he had an edge being so tall and quite latin looking. Amazingly, after all the stick he got on PI and with so little experience behind him, his dancing was sharp, perfectly in time and almost indistinguishable from the professional dancers around him. I'd like to see him dance the scene some day with a couple of girls who're nearer his height.

He'd have to practise un bending his knees. He always keeps trying until he succeeds
According to WOS they have cast the female lead for Gone with the wind BUT they are strill looking for the male lead to play Rhett butler.!!
I'd see it if Darius was in it.

Natasha's new TV series "Eli Stone" is being broadcast on abc from the 31st January. I hope it goes well for her but to be honest, reading the synopsis, for me, it seems to be a bit of a mish-mash.

Maybe it will be more compelling than the write-ups make it sound.

I've never seen the film, afraid it's never interested me....but I'd be there at the West End if Darius was in it :)

its one of those films that you think you have seen, but in fact only caught bits of, it is so long - and hasnt been repeated for ages as i recall. I did that with Sound of Music, it was on so often I kept saying I had seen it..but in reality when I actually sat down the last time it was on, I realsied I had never actually watche it through before.

I've watched bits of 'Gone With The Wind' but it's never held my attention. My Mum loves it, really, it's more her kind of film.

I watched the 100 greatest American films tonight and I agreed with the person who said Rhett was more important than Scarlett, or words to that effect. It's really only the scenes with Rhett and with Mammy which I remember from the film, other than the spectacular, the burning of Atlanta.

We know Darius is a quick learner and he's filled a couple of big shoes before but Clark Gable's Rhett is positively iconic. I reckon it would be an amazing part to play and if the musical is a great musical, then I hope Darius will be Rhett one day. Atm I'd say that despite his looks, charisma and talent, he's much too young and relatively inexperienced.

Rhett was a bit of an unsavoury character if I recall, hard and world wise, mind you I can't really recall, but he was older - but then werent all actors back then?? older and taller, these days they seem to have 12 year olds acting where the types of John Wayne etc would back then, I often get notalgic watching the old films seeing the more mature actors - Stewart Grangers and the likes, they had an air of worldlyness I always feel the actors these days lack. - I think Darius wuld have to work some to give that air, mind you he was convincing as Billy.
