Darius is with Ambush isnt he, perhaps he is happy lowkey, he isnt stupid and from what we are finding out now he is quietly going about the songwriting avenue.

I am sure Darius knows that ultimately he has to pay for pr, agents, managers in fact everything - and that being a popstar is a thankless task, very hard work, for little payback.

from articles and interviews I get the impression Darius is just fine, his songs are still earning for him and he isnt working like a dog to make vast fortunes for the men in black.

Thanks. They bring back memories. When I recall snatches of dialogue or songs from Chicago, I can close my eyes and see Darius clearly, even where the spotlight wasn't on him like Velma's all action "When Velma Takes The Stand" where he was stood at the side watching her. I can still see the changing expressions on his face.
I wonder how many watched D and not Velma?I can still watch it in my mind. And to think I didn't want him to do it.
Every morning on radio 2 Sarah Kennedy has a song bit called its showtime where you can request a song from any musical but they do chose which they will play. Would like to have heard D singing from chicago but he hasnt got a cd allowing this yet I read that at another show, cant remember which one Cds of the cast were available to buy at the theatre. Why does he always miss out on things like this and the video of the tour. I read that martine mccutcheon will be bringing out a cd in the summer which will virtually co-incide with her playing the lead in Cabaret whether this will all turn out to be true is in the balance.

There is another poll in "chart chats" for all no ones in each year but it ends tomorrow.

sorry I cant do a link

I am shocked after her previous theatre debacle, where she hardly appeared, that they are possibly giving her another chance :o It must be a risk, and even if I were her biggest fan(and I am NOT) I wouldn't risk a trip to see her, because it couldn't be a better than 50/50 chance she would appear

it always strikes me as strange how PR promo and the likes work, some do nothing but get constant praise and coverage, even when they arent doing anything!(I recall just how few performances McCutchen managed)and make the most of putting out CDs etc on the back of things, I recall other celebs and singers who had all sorts of CDs etc available in the foyer of a theatre they were appearing in a musical at, and at even small gigs bands seem to have CDs, DVDs etc abvailable at the venue, with Darius, as said, this has never been the case - in fact it has been the reverse! and he is constantly swept under the carpet

Voted  Looking at the other voters lists - some people don't seem to enjoy much music at all!! :o

Every time I vote in one of those silly polls, it seems that Darius and his fans get attacked almost immediately afterwards. I don't think I want to repeat the Baytree show again.

I wouldnt let the odd nasty person stop me.

Darius has got quite a few points from non darius fans in this poll.

yes, it was interesting looking at who had rated which song, I find it very irritating having to defend why I like Darius, no one else seems to have to defend the (rubbish) they like as a matter of course - it is especially gaulling when you see they songs they happen to rate?!

I never buy songs because they're in the charts or are being hyped to be the next wonder. Nor do I bother with media reviews.

Even buying stuff on personal recommendations from friends and family has left me with loads of played a couple of times, now gathering dust clutter.

I only buy D's music. I haven't bought myself music for over 10 years other than his, though I have bought a lot for friends and family.

The Way I Do is at No. 18 in South Africa.

I think it would be a real spine tingler if Darius sang it himself, especially if he just sang with his guitar.

I can just hear D singing when I listen to it. To me, it sounds like someone just copying D's demo.

Funny you should say that Baytree, I was listening to that song at 3.30 this morning on hernandez' site as I hadnt heard it before. I was up as we had an enormous thunderstorm here which woke most people up. It reminds me of right girl wrong time but as everyone says the voice is not a patch on D's.

I still think Mercury should have released Right Girl Wrong Time as a one-off single until the album was ready.

Who was D's RGWT?

Jacqui? He was still going out with Jacqui wasn't he when he sang it on TV? Could it be about when they first met for the Colourblind video but she had a policeman boyfriend?

His angel, Rachel?
