Perhaps you're right. It's hard to decide whether something warrants a thread of its own or whether it belongs in here.

 

I think I started this thread for tiny quotes, mentions and things obliquely referenced to Darius but I agree there are probably a few things that should have been in their own threads. What kind of criteria should someone use to decide?

 

I agree with Meg. Darius was the best I've ever seen at the Cambridge - he was putting so much more into the role.

Actually, looking at it again , I think I better explain that the programme features actors and comedians who improvise throughout. Sometimes the audience just throws out ridiculous topics and they have to make up a sketch including two or three their and in styles also suggested at random by the audience. It can be hilarious.

 

I used to watch it years ago when it first came on - John Slattery, Josie Lawrence and Sandy Toksvig (sp?) were regulars I remember back then.

If you mean the one in the lounge, don't bother. Predictably he's been voted out right away.

There are 2 votes. One he's been eliminated and the other is for your 2 favourite artists but you can't vote for your 2 favourite artists because you can only choose one from each group. It puts a bias on the whole thing. there should at least be the same number of artists in each section otherwise proportionally the ones in the bottom will get more of the votes cast automatically!

That game was played overnight by a few people and, of course, Darius was the first to go!! :D

The players enjoyed themselves, though!! :lol: (I didn't even understand how to play the game!! :???: :blush: )

 

I have asked what the significance of the two Forum groups is. Obviously, the person/persons who plan these polls have their reasons!! :D

I think some of the people playing that game, dislike Darius so much that they have totally disregarded him and have even left him out of the 'eliminated' list :lol: Poor Darius :lol:

Will Young was quietly disposed of when someone left him off their list. It's a mess. I've complained and asked them to restart where the mistake was made - on page 4.

 

There are about 4 people voting all the time in that vote. It's totally unfair. I'm now determined to vote for Will. Whos' going to join me?

Haha it was a complete free for all. I kept screwing it up inadvertently because my computer's slower and by the time I copy paste change & post, 2 more of them have posted so I edit meanwhile they've voted again - absolute chaos.
