I'll believe anything Neil Sean says when it comes to pass.

I seem to remember Darius was recording an album of songs from modern musicals and was about to transfer to Broadway because bosses were so impressed with him too. It was of course a Neil Sean exclusive!

It said in on e of the tabloids this week, cant remember which one that the producers of chicago hired Usher for broadway without an audition, they said when they heard his voice on cd they knew he was so right for it.

My impression was the producers were prepared to do the same when they heard Darius until someone let the cat out of the bag that he was only 25. They saw him just to make sure such a young guy could make BF totally believable.

Many people were sceptical before D made his debut and posted on internet sites about how outrageous it was to cast someone 12 years younger than anyone who'd ever played the role before.

But in all the times I was at Chicago in both theatres, I never heard anyone question his youth.

It's interesting that that snippet separates the two characters, the first one that I thought sounds ideal for Natasha, and Juliet.

In another source that very description is of Juliet and yet another source says that Juliet is to be played by Elizabeth Mitchell.

It's probably a case of wait and see.

I think it was rotten that CIC didn't get a new season because of ill luck with production problems and poor scheduling. There's a rumour that there will be a CIC film and most of the TV cast will do it.

There's also a rumour that Natasha has been reading the script for Joss Whedon's ( Buffy, Serenity etc.) Wonder Woman.

I was in my car waiting for my husband when this lady came up and said..

'Would you rather be at a Darius Concert?' I have a sticker on the back of my car

'Oh yes...any day' says I :dance9bh:

She then went on to say she had recently been to London with her family and went to see Chicago. She didn't know who was staring and was thrill when it was Darius' first night of this last 3 week stint. She thought he was wonderful had such a stage presence....reminded her of an early Cary Grant, felt that he would make a great James Bond...even better than Roger Moore she must think he was the best

She was very suprised when she read the program about all the things he has done in his short life....she had known him from Popstars and knew he would do well.

It was so lovely a stranger coming upto me to say that :D it's made my day :D

That lady must have been well impressed. Sticker or no sticker, I'd never have had the courage to approach someone just sitting in their car but it was lovely that she did.

All thoses things we've said so often ..... are you sure you didn't have your hand up her back doing a Reached for the Gun? :D

Darius for The Saint/ Remington Steele / Bond!

OT I saw another trailer for Casino Royale and I don't like DC any better. This time he reminded me a little of Steve McQueen without the charisma.

BTW What does it say on your sticker?

bt -funny how DC reminds you fo the same person he does me! as you say without any of the charisma(not that I liked SM much to be honest)

congratulatins to your son, D D

I've just been on another thread and now I know why you are congratulating DD's son

I'd rather be at a

Darius Concert

:yahoo: Any day

Have you stuck you sticker on the bumper?

Ive had mine ages but dont like sticking things on my car not that it would stick on the muck :o

It's not on my bumper, it's just below my back window, but I'm thinking of moving it.....to the front :D
I forgot to say in Asda they played Colourblind and in Morrisons they played Rushes, both this week  :yahoo:

I forgot to say in Asda they played Colourblind and in Morrisons they played Rushes, both this week  :yahoo:

:cheer: that would easy the pain of paying

I was watching one of the many property progs on TV this morning- I think it's called 'To Buy or not To Buy'. Anyway, there were various D songs from Dive In played in the background at different points in the programme. Thought it was worth a mention!

Oh wow! Thanks, Madame Cholet. You must have great hearing.

Don't suppose it gets repeated?

Forgot I came to this thread to ask

Was anyone remotely surprised that Simon Cowell's luxury item for Desert Island Discs was a mirror?

He's got a bit of stick for it but do you know, I must be nearly as stupid as him because on reflection ( ha ha), it might not be a bad idea. It can be used for signalling and surely it could also reflect the rays of the sun to kindle a fire.

this is nice.

Darius is in the Radio Times and they have him clumped together with the winners! makes a change

  • Author

Thank you, pip. I don't get the Radio Times.

Darius has always been a winner in my eyes from the first moment I clapped eyes on him and heard that voice.

For any mag to give him credit is a very welcome change.

It's nice that they mention Chicago because that was such a great challenge which he passed with flying colours.

I don't get the Pop Idol Pretender bit at all. Darius wasn't a pretender at all. In fact, in the latter stages he was panicking that he seemed to have a chance of winning and he could be stuck with the 'poisoned chalice'.

Thank God he didn't win. It would have been Clash of the Titan Wills.
