That has to be one of the worst games I’ve seen all season. Two very average teams, but one standout player who was Amad!

In the NBC Sports stream I watched the commentators and presenter were chatting so much shit. Saying things like:

"in 24 out of the last 26 matches the team leading the Manchester derby at half-time went on to win the match"

"Man United have lost 5 out of the last 6 derby matches in the Premier League"

"Wolves have scored more goals than Man United and only 4 teams have scored less in the league"

One stupid statistic after the other. But when the final whistle went they were all silent as if they were in a funeral. That's what I like to see, hopefully over time they'll be more of that to come in the future. Not the most entertaining of matches but a comeback win like that will always feel good.

Do they love City on NBC?

Pep must be close to the sack now 🤣

Richard's face on Sky Sports was an absolute picture

There's no way Pep gets sacked, but yeah this does seem SO SO similar to when Klopp signed his contract extension and we fell off a cliff the following season. Massive rebuild needs to happen there and usually with Pep's system it takes 6-8 months before players get used to the way he wants to play.

Man Utd weren’t that bad. Plenty of chances, should of have had a penalty. Hoejiund was good, Amad great. If there was another quality attacker could have won by 2-3 for sure. Man City on the other hand…..straight garbage, lucky goal too. 8 defeats in 11, 1 win in two months. Their dominance is over

Maybe they do. They definitely dislike Man United that's for sure!

Russell Martin has been sacked as Southampton manger after the 5-0 defeat to Tottenham. Sacking him won't make any difference imo, they are doomed for relegation either way.

They’re just rubbish with average players. Not much you can do.

The Friedkin Group has completed its takeover of Everton, ending the turbulent tenure of Farhad Moshiri.

The deal for 99.5% of the club is believed to be worth in excess of £400m and the Toffees become the 10th club in the Premier League under majority American control.

The group reached an agreement with Moshiri on 23 September and were awaiting regulatory approval, with the Premier League having the final say on the deal, and this has now been granted.

Southampton are close to appointing Ivan Juric as their manager on an 18-month deal.

The Croat is set to replace Russell Martin, who was sacked by the Saints on Sunday after their 5-0 thrashing by Tottenham.

Juric, 49, was most recently manager of Roma, who sacked him in November after just 12 matches in charge.

The Southampton job would mark Juric's first managerial role outside Italy.

His deal is said to include a summer break clause.

Ivan Juric's Management History:

AS Roma (18th September 2024 to 10th November 2024) [sacked]

Torino (1st July 2021 to 30th June 2014) [sacked]

Hellas Verona (14th June 2019 to 28th May 2021) [Appointed as Manager of Torino]

Genoa (October 9th 2018 to December 6th 2018) [sacked]

Genoa (April 10th 2017 to November 5th 2017) [sacked]

Genoa (June 28th 2016 to February 19th 2017) [sacked]

Crotone (June 9th 2015 to June 28th 2016) [Appointed as Manager of Genoa]

Mantova (July 1st 2014 to June 30th 2015) [Appointed as Manager of Crotune]

Doesn't take a brain surgeon to work what his fate will be at Southampton doesn't it.

Also what the hell is with that hokey cokey relationship with Genoa.

Man City 2-0 down to Aston Villa with only a few minutes to go. As things stand this will be their 6th loss of the season so far in the Premier League which is the same amount as Man Utd. Crazy when you consider how the season started for both teams!
9 losses in 12 for Man City now in all comps. 1 win in two months. I told everybody everywhere they’re finished. People have this PTSD they’re going to go on a winning run, not happening…..just watch the games they’re abysmal. Grealish has 1 goal in the last 45 games. Haaland is average without service. Gundogan finito. De Bruyne past it. Silva seen his best days. Doku average. Walker & Stone belong at the retirement home. 9 points behind Liverpool having played two games more. Top 4 a massive task for them at this point. Hopefully they get hit with a points deduction too. Loving their downfall.
They'll still finish miles clear of United by the season end. But I'm also enjoying this run, about time Pep finally has to arrest a downfall as extreme as this!
