We still love them right? I know I do. Nothing new here but it is nice to have everything packaged, including recent singles, in one place.

2024 is the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Vengaboys with activations, physical and digital releases!

The Vengaboys group scored 7 consecutive European Top 10 hits between 1998 and 2000, including two no.1 singles in the UK with ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom!’ and ‘We’re Going To Ibiza’. Other smashes include ‘Up & Down’, ‘We Like To Party (The Vengabus)’, ‘Kiss (When The Sun Don’t Shine)’ and ‘Shalala Lala’.

Vengaboys are still an international active touring act.

The physical product is a new ‘Greatest Hits’ compilation, containing all the band’s singles with brand-new artwork.

The coloured vinyl 1LP contains 14 tracks, it’s the first-ever Vengaboys album on vinyl and the CD contains a mega-mix as bonus track.

Vengaboys is one of the most successful Eurodance acts in the world. With a string of global top 10 hits, including ‘Up & Down’, ‘Shalala Lala’, ‘We Like To Party’ and the UK No.1 singles ‘Boom, Boom’ Boom Boom!’ and ‘We’re Going To Ibiza’ they dominated the charts in the late 90’s and early 00’s. These songs have also been embraced by younger generations, with several global viral TikTok trends.

This CD version includes a mega-mix bonus track, not available on the LP version

1. Parada de Tettas

2. To Brazil!

3. Up & Down

4. We Like To Party! (The Vengabus)

5. Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!

The Party Album was the first cassette/tape I ever owned so it's very tempting to buy this to complete the circle in a way :')

I also owned the first 2 albums. Defo an artist that had a small number of memorable hits, meaning their GH's is a mix of the hits & fan faves

Great to see Forever As One on there - always thought that was a stunning ballad and a great song to finish their original run

I got the CD today and I'd forgotten all about Rocket To Uranus. I can do without Perez on it but it's actually quite funny and the production is surprisingly immaculate.

Also didn't realise Benny and Björn had been given a writing credit on Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom! but it makes sense, as the verse always very clearly riffed Lay All Your Love On Me.

Never knew this before.

This ad made me laugh

This album feels like a very chucked out release as the CD sleeve is literally a single piece of paper and the artwork is a cartoon so there are no photos of them even on it etc...so it's nice to see some sort of promotion here.

Not top 100 in todays mids, i actually thought it would chart, wasnt expecting anything big but thought they would do enough to make even the lower end of the top 75.
Or it's just that everyone can just easily stream all 5 of their songs for free on Spotify and not fork out for this.
It wasn’t a major release at all either. Barely promoted and many HMV stores were only carrying one copy each at most.
