Comfortable Spanish win hopefully. England have been terrible in the competition and only really started to show up against the Swiss and the Dutch. Spain have been brilliant throughout the whole tournament. Predicting a 3-1 Spain win

Countless sides (Italy several times) have won tournaments by muddling through the early stages before upping their game in the latter stages. That’s how tournaments often work.

I got good vibes, it could go either way but this might finally be the year, these players have found a way to win from precarious positions and they’ve been getting better the last few games and now maybe it’s time to peak and win the it all

I won’t be watching but I have been saying to people at work for the past two weeks that it would be so funny to me if they finally won in the year where they’d all been permanently moaning about the players and Southgate

I’d prefer England to win, obviously, but I won’t be devastated if they don’t

Supporting Spain this evening because I have absolutely no desire to have to suffer what happens when England win.

Currently in the fan mile, the atmosphere of which the England fans are doing their very best to sour, because on the run up to the final the Sugababes are doing a set on the big stage at the Brandenburg Gate. Then I’m going home to watch the match with my boy

Even if we win tonight there'll be plenty of people who would rather spend more energy on complaining that we didn't deserve it than enjoying the victory but it is what it is.
Yep. And if we don't win it'd be the most disastrous thing to ever happen, ignoring the fact we got to the final.

Whatever you think of England's performance, that doesn't happen by accident.

It won't be a disaster if we don't win, but it will be a disaster if the passive version of Southgate turns up. Fingers crossed we just give it a shot. That's the main thing, it's football - anything can happen, but if you don't give yourself a chance then you might as well not turn up!

Let's be honest, the group games and vs Slovakia were absolutely awful. Genuinely terrible. After the Last 16 something definitely changed - the mood in the camp was better and we got in to a bit of form. I imagine eventually stories will come out about what the root cause of that was.

Wish my neighbourhood could do a watchalong, but that'd be fine as I've prepared some snacks at home!

That stuff feels like a lifetime ago though, it’s a whole different vibe and formation and setup and even Shaw is able to start now. If England want to win it they should win it, I really think it’s there for the taking. I remember the FA cup final I felt like Man Utd were just going to turn up and want it more similar vibe today. I hope so anyway

I’m really starting to feel the nerves now. 3 years ago was devastating but today could really make up for it.

COME ON ENGLAND!!!

Let's be honest, if we win nobody is gonna remember/care how bad we were in the group stages in 58 years time. England drew their opening game in 1966 but nobody ever mentions that.

A quote from the Wikipedia article about the 1966 World Cup final:

The match is remembered for England's only World Cup and first and only major international title

^

We'll find out tonight if England can finally change this statement that has stood for 58 years!

Spanish win the anthems battle but will they win the football battle?

God Save the Queen needs replacing by Land of Hope and Glory or Jerusalem

I’m watching from florida surprised how many American people are in this bar supporting England too! ❤️🤍 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
