July 14, 20241 yr Very frustrating. That 2nd goal was so damn preventable it was ridiculous. Overall they equalised had momentum to win it then sat back and seemed unsure what to do it was bizarre. England need a new start, it’s time to move on from Kane and Southgate, overall Southgate did ok and has a good record, same for Kane but they’re just not winners and never have been. Kane is 32 and never won anything on his career and there is a reason for that. Spain were beatable but so were England
July 14, 20241 yr Best team won. Classic Southgate, we score after needing to attack, then decide to revert back in to low block and concede momentum :lol: Great man manager, but this complete passive nature gets you burned. Spain were there for the taking after we scored and we bottled it again.

July 14, 20241 yr Well done Spain, thought both teams played well but Spain deserved it they have played so well all tournament. Gutted, but another final for England is excellent so hats off to them. There is only one family in this bar in Florida supporting Spain, I went up to congratulate them and shake their hands and then all the other England fans started doing the same!! We’re not all as bad as people think. 🤷♂️

There's a direct link between reported domestic violence and football matches, with reports going up if England lose. There's been a campaign running all tournaments around this to try and encourage women who are suffering to come forward.
July 14, 20241 yr And life goes on x Congrats to Spain, the best team won and the only team to play interesting, attacking based football throughout so a fitting result. Certainly not a bad game for England and we did what we could, but there was rarely a point we looked dominant and the result reflects the game fairly. Don't think there's necessarily a lot to be upset about, we were just up against a better team that had already gone through France and Germany at home, there definitely needs to be some revision though as we have looked painfully amateur at times and played very boring football. Still, I believe we'll get there eventually, Euro 2028 is a home tournament for the most part so there's hope!
