I'm not sure how that will work out yet, because I don't know if it means you get to pick one from each era, or just the one .... but we shall see?

How did you manage to do the Survivor games? :D

 

I know it's really tough to choose a single favourite, I'm hopeless at it too and change my mind depending on my moods, the weather, whatever too - I think we've been very spoilt for choice so far, that's the problem - it's practically impossible. But it's interesting to see what different people like best though - well it interests me .... I just hope everyone doesn't abstain like you :lol:

How can I do survivors? I can't after I get rid of the few tracks I dislike eg the 8jam remix of Colourblind where they alter D's voice electronically.

 

I managed the ones on CC because we voted for and rated songs, not just one song.

I don't like the electronic distortion either :puke2: (OT ... that spoils Better Man for me too :( )

We were about to launch a survivor of groups of covers starting with PI and the one from the Big Band album plus the one he sang at the charity do when Victoria Beckham snubbed him and refused to shake his hand. How could she know that a few years later he'd be at her son's baptism?

 

If we could do it like a balloon debate where people get to champion one song in the hope that they can keep it in for the next round. That would be much less painful and IMHO more fun. we could set a time limit for the debate part and then add a poll for the vote. Prettyinpink, is that possible? Can you add a poll to a thread any time? With a poll, only those who've already voted can see the results so no-one can be swayed to go with the majority.

 

 

I voted for 'Chrysalis to Buttterfly' and 'Now or Never'. 'Now or Never' is my overall fave though. How do we know both votes were counted?

I knew straight away and I was shocked to find I had voted for the ones already in the lead

 

Tear Run Dry is just the most evocative song of the Dive In era and should have been on the album... totally wasted as a B side

 

In the Live Twice era .... Faith in Me!!! my ultimate favourite It has energy, buzz, umff and the subject matter what is basically two fingers up at the likes of Victoria "The Witch of Wapping" Newton, chief hack of The Sun Bizarre page and Rav Whatsisface of NOTW is just TOP! The song blew me away when I first heard it and gets played over and over again.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean - but I'm up for any kind of survivor type thingies - I'll leave it to you to organise Baytree, but I'd need the rules spelling out really clearly though me :blush: :P

Can you not tell, now that you can view the results Meg? I wasn't sure how this one would work out, but I've not voted yet and don't want to cancel my vote opportunity by having a look.

 

 

If your vote has been counted you will see the figures beside all the choices and at the bottom it will say "You have already voted in this poll".

 

 

If you still see the buttons beside the song names, you need to vote again, megham.
