I wonder if Kylie should have a break from releasing collabs atm or focus on a release?

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE that she is clearly feeling really creative at the moment and the success of PP and Vegas has obviously got her raring to go but we’ve had AMR - MOM - EOSN in quick succession with a potential Joel Corry collab still to come too.

‘Fever’ cardsleeve CD back in stock at Spinning Around (along with the other card sleeve releases) - https://spinningaroundrecords.square.site/p...9Hte1-A1Q5DdAMw

I wonder why these don't appear to be more widely available? I've only seen them posted about / sold by this one independent store

^^ There probably isn’t much interest, Emma who runs Spinning Around is a huge Kylie fan so advertised them to the fanbase, a few others have popped up elsewhere here and there but nothing major.

So Kylie sold £9.6m worth of wine between June 2024 to August 2024

Bloody hell. She has done amazing. That's nearly £40m a year!

Don’t recall this being shared before, there’s an article published just before the BRITs this year of Kylie’s top airplay hits of the 21st century in order of plays: https://www.ppluk.com/we-cant-get-kylie-out...ow-we-know-why/

1 Can’t Get You Out Of My Head

2 Spinning Around

3 Love At First Sight

4 In Your Eyes

5 Kids (with Robbie Williams)

6 I Believe In You

10 Better The Devil You Know

Ahead of being awarded the BRITs Global Icon accolade this Saturday, PPL can exclusively reveal that Kylie Minogue has amassed 230 million seconds of UK radio & TV airplay in the 21st century, the equivalent of being played for seven years straight. The phenomenal ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ makes up one year alone, almost 20% of Kylie’s total UK airplay.

The success of recent viral sensation ‘Padam Padam’ is clear, coming in at number 12 with less than a year of airplay under its belt and already overtaking big hitters such as ‘Come Into My World’ (14), ‘Slow’ (16), and ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ (17). ‘Padam Padam’ makes up 2% of Kylie’s total airplay and has already been broadcast for over 4 million seconds.

Red blooded woman is the only surprise in that top 10, i wonder has padam padam pushed better the devil you know out.

It was a big radio hit at the time, must be enough to keep it Top 10, although I’d have thought Slow would be ahead.

Cha Cha to Love At First Sight by Kylie Minogue

Looking forward to Gorka's ass on Strictly dancing to Kylie

The rather short lengths of the tracks on Tension II was raised as a discussion point. I decided to look at every Kylie studio album and work out the average length of the songs on each of them. I'm just using the standard track lists rather than deluxes:

57:12 - 10 tracks = 5 minutes, 43 seconds (average length per song) Kylie Minogue (1994)

49:49 - 12 tracks = 4 minutes, 9 seconds Impossible Princess (1997)

44:20 - 11 tracks = 4 minutes, 2 seconds Rhythm of Love (1989)

47:44 - 12 tracks = 3 minutes, 59 seconds Body Language (2003)

38:52 - 10 tracks = 3 minutes, 53 seconds Let's Get to It (1991)

58:16 - 15 tracks = 3 minutes, 53 seconds Light Years (2000) [includes 'Password']

45:27 - 12 tracks = 3 minutes, 47 seconds Fever (2001)

43:20 - 12 tracks = 3 minutes, 37 seconds Aphrodite (2010)

35:22 - 10 tracks = 3 minutes, 32 seconds Kylie (1988)

38:46 - 11 tracks = 3 minutes, 31 seconds Kiss Me Once (2014)

45:12 - 13 tracks = 3 minutes, 29 seconds X (2007)

41:29 - 12 tracks = 3 minutes, 27 seconds Disco (2020)

40:33 - 12 tracks = 3 minutes, 23 seconds Golden (2018)

32:56 - 10 tracks = 3 minutes, 18 seconds Enjoy Yourself (1989)

35:51 - 11 tracks = 3 minutes, 16 seconds Tension (2023)

40:07 - 13 tracks = 3 minutes, 5 seconds Kylie Christmas (2015)

36:47 - 13 tracks = 2 minutes, 50 seconds Tension II (2024)

Kylie Minogue has been nominated for 5 ARIA Awards including:

Album of the Year - Tension

Best Pop Release — Tension

Best Independent Release - Tension

Best Song - Tension

Best Solo Artist
