Posted August 23, 2024Aug 23 79sU9UXD5eA Chart summary: Right, so my chart is an absolute mess this week I had so many songs I wanted to chart (including a belated Chappell album bomb thanks to a really fun night out dedicated to her), but I didn't wanna get rid of a lot of songs yet, so for the first time I'm making my chart a top 53 instead of a top 40! I'm using some chart shenanigans that would put the OCC to shame to give all the songs a top 40 peak still (this week my top ten somehow contains 19 songs!), so I realise the chart runs in brackets make no sense this week but just go along with it, I've put a normal-looking top 40 in the multichart thread xx Anyway congrats to Jane Remover on a first #1! The last few months have been full of established artists getting #1s so it was nice to instead choose someone completely new to me this week. I like the gains for "Angel Of My Dreams", "HOT TO GO", "360", "Beaches", "Here's The Thing" and "Love Bites" and the debuts for "New Woman", "Red Wine Supernova", "Die With A Smile" and "Edge Of Saturday Night". The big surprise for me is seeing "STORIE BREVI" debuting, it is my highlight of your chart, for me it is the song of the summer this year. Great chart! Take care.

Jade really is a queen. Apple is amazing isn't it. I'm so glad it's doing well here. A 110% bop! Red wine supernova was my initial favourite of the three charting singles but not so much anymore. Edge of Saturday night is good. I knew it was coming just like we all did but I was still quite shocked lol. Fab chart ^_^
