Now you've started to be silly again. Time to start ignoring your comments I think :)

 

If you have an argument about who should and should not have a forum (which BTW Gareth doesn't have, so it's not even relevant to this thread) surely there are places to take it up, instead of asking ludicrous questions to make a point.

 

 

Anyway, back to the point - I don't suppose there is any news of an album release date yet is there?

I had decided I wouldn't reply to you again, but I've changed my mind. Just a few points

 

1 No-one has ever said they would request a forum for Gareth, mainly because of posts like yours.

 

2 I think if you look through the Optional Forum's you will see that there are at least half-a-dozen or more Artists with their own forums who have had much less success than Gareth has had.

 

3 Why the issue with David Bowie. If you want a forum for David Bowie, then request one. If there are enough people who agree with you, you'll get your wish.

 

So where is your problem. If you don't like seeing Gareth being discussed you have the answer in your own hands.

 

Anyway Sybil, I haven't heard a release date for the album yet, but Gareth did say in one of his answers today, that he can't wait to promote the album on a new Radio Tour. So things are really hotting up now :cheer:

I'll tell you one thing Gareth and David Bowie have in common. Me! I am a big fan of both, but if you put up a poll for a forum for Bowie, I would say no, because I think there are too many individual forums, and I am far more likely to spot a thread on an artist if it's in one of the general areas.

 

It's a bit silly to criticise Gareth for his looks, and even more silly to criticise him for being about image, not talent when you go on to say he's not even good looking. No-one is forcing you to comment on every update about Gareth, let alone buy the new music, so I don't know why you are so rattled by him. :wacko:

It will. The chances of him being a success again are pretty much zero. He's pretty much forgotten about and the vast majority of his fans have grown up and moved on to completely different songs. It may do better than Steve Brookstein's attempt to resurrect his flagging career but his days as a top 40 artist are over.

Who said we needed more female solo pop artists? This is a thread about Gareth, and you've tried to introduce David Bowie into it. I know he did the whole androgenous thing, but I don't think that counts. :wacko:

 

I do wonder if you are reading the same thread as the rest of us. :blink:

 

BTW, I was already grown-up when Gareth first hit the charts. :P

We just have to wait and see, wont we? Gareth has the respect of lots of musicians, they actually see the talent he has, and he's done quite a bit live singing with bands whilst being away.

 

And I have seen quite a few posts where people say its all about the music, and they admire someone who is in it for the music and wont give up, but keeps working hard on the music?

 

Well that is Gareth, he loves performing and he loves to be able to do the music now he is passionate about. :dance:

 

I think Gareth may get a reasonably big first single as it's a comeback, sort of like All Saints did with 'Rock Steady', nothing major but top 5 and falling fast. Then I think the album will totally bomb as will further singles or the last single...
