It's a new number one from David Guetta & Alesso, featuring Madison Love in a packed chart, so packed Ive had to expand it to 100, annoyingly! Never Going Home Tonight is a fab dance tune, Guetta's 3rd number one after Titanium and Turn Me On over a decade ago, and Alesso's second after his collab with Calvin Harris & Hurts in 2013 with Under Control. They just inched out Sam Feldt and Rosa Linn, denying Rosa the honour of becoming only the 3rd Eurovision entrant to get a number one post-ESC entry, bar those that had previous contest success, and with other ESC tracks.

Katy Perry adds to her top 10's, her first in 7 years! Tears For Fears have a big climb into the 40, and the highest new entry is from The Lottery Winners with a great collab with Reverend And The Makers grabbing their 8th chart entry. Herbie Flowers, legendary bassist on Walk On The Wild Side, the Lou Reed classic, and session man favourite, died this week after I saw him loving the spotlight only months ago at a Blue Mink get-together at a live concert with orchestra for 81-year-old Madeline Bell and massive hit-songwriter Roger Cook. So I'm charting a load of Blue Mink hits, an album track and a flop that was later covered by The Rimshots who got the hit out of it. Blue Mink are sadly forgotten these days, but Herbie co-wrote quite a few of their hits with Roger Cook.

Elsewhere, HUGEL grabs a second chart entry, Purple Disco Machine keep the dance tracks coming, Corinne Bailey Rae finally follows up her fab chart-topper New York Transit Queen, Alex Warren gets a second chart track, Paul Carrack reprises his 50-year-old hit How Long, though the original was as singer in Ace. Ace is a term of approval that needs bringing back. That would be Ace! Agatha All Along debuted this week on Disney Plus, and the witch song they sing charts as a result - it has Broadway star Patti LuPone on it so it's all in tune and what have you, but I never thought I'd see Friends' star Debra Jo Rupp on a hit record!

Finally, there's a host of other oldies droppin in, most notably Tom Jones' Help Yourself which was ituning this week - so I've let it chart again 56 years after it first featured in my first-ever personal chart in Sept 1968. It was top 5, so obviously this is the longest gap ever for any record to re-chart in my chart. Congrats Tom and just Help Yourself to the kudos.

Hey James! :)

I may have heard Wonder once, but may need to seek it out further as it's not getting any airplay. Lifetimes is still fresh though! Please x 3 still stuck at 46 this week too  I'm almost able to hum one line of The Weeknd track  (The title and the bit after the title, so not quite there yet :D ) I'd love Purple Disco Machine to get a consistent pop hit career, but they just dont see to get that one big breakthrough, sadly!

Thanks for the comments as always! :cheer:
