Because it is in the 1998 ROTY Game when it climbed to it's chart peak of #4, in 1997 it only peaked at #7.

OK, fair enough. I just assumed it'd be based on the year they first charted in.

 

At least the top 3 are my top 3 songs of the year, but I prefer No Doubt and Natalie swapping places with each other
