That gives her the almost unique position of being the first Eurovision entrant to grab a number one with a follow-up track rather than their debut Eurovision track.... since Bucks Fizz did it in 1982, so it's appropriate The Fizz are knocked off the top! Tears For Fears get a first top 3 in a couple of years 42 years on from their first (Mad World), and The Lottery Winners help Reverend & The Makers to a 6th top 10. In a quiet week for new entries I take the opportunity to chop the chart down to 90, phew! That leaves Duran Duran as the highest new entry with another track off their revamped Halloween album, a cover of ELO's 1976 chart-topper Evil Woman at 71 joining their cover of their own New Moon On Monday up to 15 for a second top 20 run 41 years on. As I realise male lead singer of Brotherhood Of Man, Martin Lee, has also died along with his co-song-writer, Angelo re-enters in tribute to both - albeit he doesn't really sing any lead on that track, but it's their best single, Abba-stylee. Hi Alex, I entered Amen into BJSC because it didn't get the love it deserved when it came out, and it gave me an excuse to chart it again and top my charts again when it made the final :yahoo: Don't Start Without Me is my 2nd-fave Fizz track and should be a christmas classic for a change instead of the same old bollocks year after year clogging up the charts until the end of time :lol:
