January 18, 200718 yr Great to see Pan's Labyrinth get so many nominations - it really is an otherworldly movie.... one of the best I've ever seen. I watched The Queen last weekend, too, and HRH Mirren gives a shockingly good performance as old Lillibet. I enjoyed the film a lot, actually, even if it did feel rather 'made-for-TV'.

February 2, 200718 yr Great to see Pan's Labyrinth get so many nominations - it really is an otherworldly movie.... one of the best I've ever seen. I watched The Queen last weekend, too, and HRH Mirren gives a shockingly good performance as old Lillibet. I enjoyed the film a lot, actually, even if it did feel rather 'made-for-TV'. It felt like a made for TV film because that was what it originally was ... a TV project!! And yes Helen is quite amazing in this and all the awards she has won for this performance are truly deserved!! Its nice to see her FINALLY getting some recognition!! Love, Kirsty xx
