Great to see Pan's Labyrinth get so many nominations - it really is an otherworldly movie.... one of the best I've ever seen.

 

I watched The Queen last weekend, too, and HRH Mirren gives a shockingly good performance as old Lillibet. I enjoyed the film a lot, actually, even if it did feel rather 'made-for-TV'.

It felt like a made for TV film because that was what it originally was ... a TV project!!

 

And yes Helen is quite amazing in this and all the awards she has won for this performance are truly deserved!! Its nice to see her FINALLY getting some recognition!!
