My wait for a win in this continues but after never making the top 3 for the first 26 editions I've now done so twice in the last 3, my day will come one of these days!! I did have a good feeling about this entry (it quickly entrenched itself as quite an unshakeable earworm for me, reminiscent of Baiuca's 'Olvídame' which was likewise a podium finish) so hooray for that panning out well, another bronze after Locust pulled off the same a couple of weeks ago. Thanks all of my voters once more :3

 

I also voted for all of the other songs in the top 4, not surprised at the top two smashing but I don't think I'd have predicted such a strong result for Bunny Girls, why not though! Yas at 'Volga Nehri' being comfortably top 10 too <3 but I am a little disappointed that Salif Keita finished in the lower half, it was such a standout for me. ARPRAXIS way too low as well and Michaela didn't deserve last place naur x

 

Thanks for hosting Cody, ngl I am hoping for Kath to bring a theme that's a little more up my street in general but still ended up quite enjoying this contest including really surprising myself with how much I loved my own entry!

Wow, I really didn't expect to come top ten in this edition - disco is not my theme at all. I just played it straight down the line with classic disco from the 70s (albeit in German) simply because I couldn't really work out what a modern interpretation of disco should sound like, as you could argue a lot of dance music has roots in disco, and certainly most house music.

 

Thanks a lot to all the voters, lovely to see the 12 from Cow and several other high votes. After the BJSC DNQ and bottom three in Bop Idol this week, it's a relief not to flop in all three.

Congrats Kath, very fun entry and the music video with 2000s quality footage made it all the more better *__ the whole top 3 was in my votes and great to see my 12 also up there.

 

Very pleased with 4th and a second consecutive top 5 (with the added bonus of remembering to vote this time :lol:), I didn't expect it with this song at all and I'm pleased so many of you seemed to like it.

Also I've voted for bunch of them from the Top 10, so couldn't ask for better outcome. Jade's entry was the highlight for me, just loved it from start to finish. Same as Bre's song and happy we got to swap medal points <3.

 

I didn't know what to expect from Salif Keita, but can't complain really because it was different and stood out from the rest and thought it will either do wonders or backfire...I guess it ended in spectrum of the latter :kink:

So I had a bit of a journey with this contest, I originally entered Nightriders - Hey and something else to the concurrently running Bop Idol but ended up switching Nightriders to that and sending ARPRAXIS here which caught my attention within the last few days of the submission window. I was pretty chuffed to enter a song with only 6 YouTube views at the time of submission (which has now exponentially risen to a whopping 35 *_*), uploader must be thinkin' what the blazes is going on?

 

But yeah I spent way too long sieving through a bunch of rubbish that left no impression on me at all during the hunt for an entry :lol: not my cup of tea!

 

I'm pretty sure I know what theme Kath will choose!
