It really is a bit pathetic, telling people how they can or can't vote. In a poll like this which is only supposed to be a bit of fun, isn't it obvious that people are going to vote for their favourite artist if they get the chance.

Sounds a bit like sour grapes to me. I've voted for my favourite artist, but I know full well no-one else is going to vote for him, but that's no reason to gripe at others who may have more people voting for the one they've voted for. And I'm sure there are artists who have more fans on here than Darius has, so what's stopping them voting for them.

Come on folks lighten up, its only a game :D

I've not seen all this complaining when the best songs get voted off the Survivor games right at the start, every time ;)

Where are all the Will Young Fans then ... voting for their golden boy .... Everyone who has heard of this poll has an opportunity to vote Where is everyone else. As we say it in politicial circles, if you want your candidate to win you have to G O T V ... get out the vote ... You want someone else to win - get out canvassing for them.

 

Have to say it though, Fans of the Bearsden Sex God are extremely adept and faithful about voting .... any mention of a poll with D in it ... whoomph they are on to it like longdogs ... Other artists should be so lucky to have such loyalty which by the way is something the man himself values deeply. How do I know? He has told me so. Personally. Twice.

is it really worth all this? its a poll, we voted, and yes some darius fans put CB at the top of their list, its all down to taste.

 

as has been said there are a lot of polls etc where songs that arent to everyones taste win all the time, big deal.

Darius wont be included in the next years polls as CB was his biggest selling record perhaps there should be a ruling that fans from any OF cannot vote for their fav popstars songs? or anyone with a certain artist in their sigy cannot vote for them in these polls then that would make it fairer and not based on fans voting for their own favourite star - bit like the Eurovision :lol:

other than that I say lighten up, its a game of opinions.

So you don't think Will's early work was his finest. That's your personal opinion, but that doesn't mean I can't rate Colourblind, which I think is one of Darius's best songs to date if not his very best. That's my personal opinion too.
