Thanks Jue.

Maybe they went out for a drink together or had already spent time together during the day.

Editing to say I've just remembered you said he was there with his wife so maybe not.

Thanks for the info jue  would love him to be there because of the new album

I just thought id bring my report over from Devoted, if that's ok?

Well I think i've just about recovered from Saturday!

Yes I was the idiot with the appliqued jeans on, and part of the East Anglian Posse!

Well I was up at 6am to the catch the coach to Kingslynn, and made the two and a half hours journey to meet Cowgirl (Racheal) & family at 10am

They very kindly gave me a lift to Manchester, and the three hour journey went in a flash thanks Racheal & her hubby, because they are both very entertaining, plus they played Will cd's in the car, and sang along to them the whole way there.....(Your hubby has a fab singing voice Racheal)

Anyway we checked in to the Travelodge, and soon met up with Ali, Carol, lindylobs and tillywhim in their room, very nice to meet you ladies, even if I was a bit overwhelmed by how many Devotees you could get in one room! :o

Then we had a bite to eat, and headed off to the theatre......What an amazing building, and such a great atmosphere!

After nosing around for a while and buying a programme, we eventually got to our seats (row B), nice view....tiny seat, I felt like a gymnast by the time I got my fat arse into them, needless to say, I didn't look like a gymnast, far from it, (very ungraceful)

The play was out of this world! It was just amazing to see our fella holding his own on stage (no not like that you filthy lot!)

His acting was brilliant and I totally believed in the character he was playing!

On a more shallow note, when he sat down in those very baggy trousers, he looked very impressive in a certain area....(say no more), infact I presumed it was just me who had this smutty thought, but blow me if Racheal didn't say they same thing later on the way home, you naughty girl, infront of hubby too!

Well the play was soon over, and my adopted family went off to get a bite to eat, but I headed straight for the bar, to get a swift half in before the evening performance, I couldn't eat, but I can always find room for a drink! :P

We met up with the East Anglian Posse again for a while before finding our seats in the round, (on the same same row, but the other side) After negotiating the high seats again (No I still hadn't got the knack of heaving myself into them) it was time for the lights to go down, and the experience begin again!

This time however Racheal and I noticed that if we looked behind us, we could see the actors walk in from behind the stage entrance!

We didn't see Will come the first time, but when the first act finished, we could see him walk out towards the exit in his little waistcoat, and he was puffing his cheeks, as if to say, blimey that's the first half over with!

The second half we saw him walking back through the same entrance, and this time he was lighting a fag and doing a little jiggy movement at the same time! (Well he is multi-talented! ;))

After the play was over, and they did their bows, we saw Will skip off again, and he was doing a kind of scissor action as he was running towards the exit, which I found very funny!

We didn't get to meet him afterwards , although god knows we were persistent, and wouldn't budge even when that bloody Mo Moland look-a-like announced "Mr Young will not be coming out this evening" snooty cow!

We waited in the building for ages before deciding to gather outside in the pouring rain, to see if he would come out there!

No such luck i'm afraid, All we achieved was getting wet and cold, and I thought my hair would look like Loe Sayer's by the end of the night, but luckily the hairspay held-out! :P

After going back to the East Anglian Posse room again for some drinks and nibbles, we eventually all said our good nights, and headed for bed!

Bit of a ramble, sorry about that, but I just wanted to end this report by saying a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Rachael and family for letting me travel with them, especially as her hubby had a broken toe, and was in agony for the whole weekend! (Get well soon, you little trouper!)

You know if Racheal hadn't very kindly offered to give me a lift to Manchester, and buy my tickets in advance, I never would have got to see this amazing play, so I will always be very grateful to you matey, and it was lovely getting to know you along the way!

And thanks also to our William, for being so mesmerizing on stage, that boy sure has a bright future ahead of him, in whatever he does!

Phew, I need a brew now!

Thanks vanessa what a brilliant report

Glad you enjoyed the play :yahoo:

That was a great report! Thanks for sharing it with us Vanessa! :D

Too bad you didn't get to meet him. :( But I'm really glad you liked the play and had a great time! :D

Thanks for your review Vanessa, it's a great read and I'm so glad you enjoyed your day  and the play of course with the very talented Mr Young in it. Shame you didn't get to meet him but it's always a bit hit and miss on a Saturday, maybe next time eh? :friends:

Wonderful reports Vanessa - thank you.

As a body who hasn't seen the play, nor will, I'd really like to thank everyone for all the lovely reports and more importantly some special items got for me. http://www.smileypad.com/v202/Cache/Personal/Group-Hug.gif

I dont know sorry... Lippo went backstage though ^_^

Think he went home Sunday - apparently he arrived at the RE yesterday with a load of overnight bags ^_^

Awww lovely report Vanessa :) My turn again on Saturday, last time though so I'll be a bit down afterwards I'm sure. Can't wait for what he's got up his sleeve next though :D

All highs and lows......thats it for me now, and yes , after you come down from the excitement of seeing him it hits you that its all over now til god knows when......I know the Wicked rumours have started again but somehow I can't get enthused over that...think maybe its because its not a very big role.......and it is still a rumour!!

Do miss the singing.......

I know Tilly, I made the mistake of watching KO Tour last night and completely depressed myself  I've loved The Vortex for all sorts of reasons, not least finally getting the chance to meet him, but his voice is just so incredible and there is nothing like the excitement of a tour - oh well, it will come round soon enough I'm sure - but I'm even missing ticket stress :D

A couple of snippets from dee dee, julie and jackie who were at the matinee this afternoon.

dee dee wrote:

but funniest of all was after the performance he came running out towards the stage door with his arms out like an aeroplane  He looked just like a little boy as he zoomed through the stage doors. He is a grown man but just so cute and adorable. He seemed very high on adrenalin!

Matinee brilliant! Loads of schoolchildren in, huge applause & cheering, just like a concert!

Don't you just love him.

Wonder what this is all about.

Just had a tex from Julie and Jackie to say that Will was chopping carrots during the interval-don't know what to make of that I'm sure think I will let Julie explain that one

Will was apparently on top form

Thanks to Di on Devoted.

TT - a peep has since asked was he "chomping carrots" as someone noticed he wasn't smoking. :) Could he be giving up the dreaded weed?! Good luck to him if he is. :D

Nah he smoked about 4 in 20 mins..

Carrots apparently were to go with dips
